His fathers never there and has denied my son! but he was there when he was born and signed the birth cert. Also I gave my son his name.(i know stupid me) SO I just want nothing to do with this man. He tries to get in contact with me sometimes and I can't hes not stable ANYWAYS Im getting married in about 1 year my B/F wants to adopt. So i asked bio father, he said he will relinquish b/c he dosent want to pay support. I just wrote the Child support and asked them to stop charging. MY POINT is WHAT SHOULD I DO? IS THERE AN AGENCY THAT WILL HELP ME? Until I'm married I'm conciderd a single mom and low income. WHAT DO I DO!

I'm downloading Videos off of Veoh, (Videos that have copyright etc.) and I am making them into DVD's. I'm not going to distribute them/do public viewing etc. These videos are like the Naruto movies. I'm putting them on DVD to watch them later and stuff. Not to profit, but for like plane trips and stuff. Is this legal?

Since marriage is a religious institution, shouldn't the government NOT be involved with that. Shouldn't all couples be required to get a civil union license in order to gain the benefits and if they then care to formalize it with a religious "Marriage" then that is between them and their religion.

My dauhgter is a senior in high school. She is on the drumline for her school and a section leader. Every year that she has been there they have always said a prayer before band competitions. Only people who wanted to participate would. Last year a new student and band member has come to the school and it has been one drama scene after another. This girls parents are the sue hungry people I know. They are trying to stop my daughter from praying before the competitions and I don't think she should have to do that. Just as it is there right not to pray , I feel it is hers to carry on a tradition and be able to show her faith . If they decide to try and sue over something like this , what can I do? Trust me I would not be writing this if this all wasn't coming to a head. These harassed a student last year , go in his face and screamed profanities at him because they thought he was pushing a pit instrument to hard that there daughter was helping with . Please help me and no smart a's pleas

I thought about a wonderful plan to attack someone's reputation. If you create an account on Meetup, MySpace, Facebook, etc. and use a person's name on all of these, chances are these pages will pop up first on a search engine when somebody types his name. If I used someone's name and possibly photos on these websites and then tried to ruin his reputation by making the accounts join derogatory groups (example, on all these websites he would join a gambler's club, a drugs club or even a pedophile convention!), could I get caught/sued for trying to attack that person's reputation?

Thanks in advance.

OK.. the damage being caused by steroid fueled sports cheats like Marion Jones, Ben Johnston and countless others is manifesting in numerous ways. Firstly is the massive loss of people interested in sports. Numbers are certainly down.

The other effects include a total loss of image for an entire nation, due to a few drug cheats.. USA clearly has a bad reputation as does China and in the old days it was the Bulgarian or German weight lifters.. today it's almost every nation in almost every sport!!

How can this be fixed and what kind of punishments should be handed down?

Clearly modern punishment doesnt work. So here is my list open for discussion:
1) MANDATORY 12 month prison terms for drug cheats for DISGRACING THE NATION.. this should be put into law.
2) Return ALL medals EVER won and struck OFF all record books or events books.. blot names of drug cheats right off the history books compeltely!! give then NOTHING!!
3) Loss of earnings!! TAKE THEIR MONEY!! ALL OF IT ..

I'm not trying to start a war, just interested in the general opinion. Personally I think it is wrong.
My partner thinks it is ok and we were having a debate in the car about it this morning, hence the question.

How would I go about changing my first name and middle names, but not second name. I don't think my first name suits me, and all my friends call me by my 'new' name but my birth name is still on my records. If I apply for a job, could I use my changed name, aslong as the last is the same without having to officialy change it? Hope I made sense..

I have an advertising business for hotels. Basically I sell advertising in the area of the hotel that I am working. I currently work in the US, but want to go to Canada to work a couple of hotels there. I collect checks from local businesses and was wondering if this would be a problem since my business is in the US not Canada and if I would be able to cash the checks I receive in Canada? Otherwise there should be no problem as long as the hotel agrees to it.

I have been working for a company for 6 months. I have never called in sick until I have gotten sick about 2 weeks ago. I went to work today and talked to my boss and human resource person. When I told them That all i acn do is sit at the front desk, greet customers and even anwers phones. I told them I am not sure how long I will be to sick to work harder. THey told me that I needed a doctors note and they will give me a new wage that would reflect how much work i can now do. They sent me home and the assistant manager told me if i would have been smiling while talking to my boss it would have went better. I was on the verge of tears while talking to boss and hr person because thay are mean nasty people. Can they dock my pay? what should i do? if they cant do this who do i talk to? i was hired at this wage with hopes that i would be able to do more. i learned a lot faster than others. i still feel like i do more than most there. please help with good advise.

Johann Hari reckons not, on grounds of free speech; 'we have the right to insult them and they have the right to insult us' and on the grounds that 'it is already deeply illegal to attack gay people, or threaten violence against them because they are human beings'

What do you reckon?
