The father of my daughter and I separated when she was 6 months old and I eventually moved 150 miles away with her. I did not file for child support until 11 months later when I went back to school and the CRSU began the process for me. They were unable to find him to serve him the papers until over a year later and to this date (almost 2 yrs after the process was started) I have not received child support. In that time, my daughter has not seen her biological father and does not know who he is and he has made no effort to contact her. I was recently married and my husband has filed to adopt my daughter who is now 3 yrs old. If he agrees to the adoption (or doesn't respond and his rights are terminated), do I still have a right for back child support either from the date we separated or the date the CRSU began the filing process? I have been told I do not since there was never an order in place and it was my decision to move her away from him.

My husband worked 70.5 hrs in one week and his boss only paid him his reg hourly wage. He didn't get the time and a half for the other 30.5 hrs. He paid him his reg hourly wage for all 70.5 hrs. I would like to know if that is illegal for an employer to do that?

My maid, Maria, has threatened to do just that. I suppose that she thought because she is quite attractive, that I would persue her.

Well, that was not the case. The main reason I hired her was not because of her looks, but because she has very large hands. I thought, and I still think rightfully so, that she would be able to dust and clean much quicker.

Now she just pouts and says I don't want her. I still want her. But not that way.

TO THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH JOE ARPAIO -
HE IS THE MARICOPA COUNTY SHERIFF AND HE
KEEPS GETTING ELECTED OVER AND OVER.

THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY:

Sheriff Joe Arpaio (in Arizona) who created the "tent city jail":

He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.

He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails. Took away their weights. Cut off all but "G" movies.

He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects.

Then he started chain gangs for women so he wouldn't get sued for discrimination.

He took away cable TV until he found out there was a federal court order that required cable TV for jails. So he hooked up the cable TV again only let in the Disney channel and the weather channel.

When asked why the weather channel he replied, so they will know how hot it's gonna be while they are working on my chain gangs.

We are getting a divorce and the father has snatched two of the kids already and I still am breastfeeding the baby so I have him. My ex turned the electric and heat off without telling me. We go to court soon, is that going to look bad on him? I hope so because he obviously doesn't care and is acting like he does.

I can understand in a public place and all but this is a question for smokers and non-smokers because if your telling someone that you cannot smoke in your own home then why not tell someone that drinks they cant drink in their own home because if your child sees you there gonna drink too..
Its really just a matter of subject.. I cant see how they can do this and i really dont think its fair..
A vehicle and a home is a persons personal property, They should be able to do what they want in my personal oppinion..

What do you all think??

about a month ago, a coworker went to HR with a bogus story that I and another coworker spoke innapropriately around her, her claim was false, I refused to sign the harrasment write up because it was false. since then she has been fired for lying which proved even more that we were innocent of her claim, still on wednsday, me and this other individual were also fired because of tardiness, without the bogus harrasment charge this would have just been our first write up, but since the charge still stood, the company decided to let us go, I feel that I was wrongfully let go and am being advized by other coworkers that I should pursue legal action, can anyone tell me if I have a case, or can anyone tell me where I can go or who I can talk to to find out.

Minors drink there every sunday. Isn't it against the law? Is it ok if your parents are there, or if the priest pretends it isn't really wine?

Isn't the law hypocritical?

If the song is purchased once and you allow other people, friends, whatever to save that song to their iPod, and they can in turn save it to their library, etc, etc, etc. Is this the same as 500 people downloading from LimeWire, or sharing music otherwise?? How do the record companies win the lawsuits when there are so many ways around it with out being tracked?
The above is just one example, there are others like burning CD's, etc. Any opinions?

I have three options
1. $400 tkt pay it and get points on my license and increased insurance rates.
2. Go to Court and talk to the judge
3.Go to Traffic school for 8 hours reduced tkt to $100 and no pts on my license..

Thing is I have never gotten a tkt in since I have had my license,
I am a very careful driver, but someone told me a quik way to exit was to use this exit, and as I was doing it I said to myself this doesnt feel right, sure enough there was a motorcycle cop waiting a the lite.
I am opting for traffic school, has anyone gone, what does it entail? is it difficult .
Or do I stand a case in front of a judge?

Thanks
