I moved to Japan for 2 years last year and my license expired last month but I want to keep it current until I move back. I will be home in December. Can I renew it then or do I have to take the test again?

My son and I were watching ‘Weird Science’ last weekend, and having a good laugh. The more we watched, the less far-fetched of an idea this seemed to us. Why COULDN’T we make a girl from scratch? Each of us placed in a science fair while in school, so the idea didn’t seem so out of our reach.

We put together the things we thought we would need, and we even strapped two of his mother’s bras on our heads, paying homage to the movie. The deeper we delved in, the more things began to go wrong. I’m not sure exactly what happened, as much of it is a blur, but SOMETHING happened. I signed a Gold’s Gym membership contract as a minor and then they put someone else’s bank account info on the contract. They have been charging them for a contract that I did not know was finalized as I never paid the first initial payment to become a member and never finished the paper work. The owner of the account has been being charged for the last year and finally realized it and stopped the payments. I received a bill from a bill collector about 2 months ago asking for roughly $380 for stopped payment charges, late fees and “insufficient bank account information”. I do not know whose bank account information they have and how Gold’s Gym obtained it. I just received another letter yesterday from Federal Recovery Services informing me I now owe them $1,293.83 for late fees, returned and stopped check fees, ect. I want to know if I should take legal action against Gold’s Gym for knowing letting a minor sign a legal binding contract and for them charging another individual’s account information for this contract. The gym representative also did not inform me that the contract would automatically renew itself and I would have this contract until August 2009. So, if you have any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A few days ago I caught my little brother (he's 13) downloading porn featuring underage girls. I yelled at him and told him to delete everything. I haven't told our parents yet. Now I'm afraid at any moment police are going to bust down the door and arrest him. Is this likely to happen? Should I tell my parents? Or, is my brother really messed up and I should not be trying to protect him?

I have been at my present company for 7 years. I am an assistant manager. The general manager went on maternity leave, and will be out for 3months. They sent a guy over who is a manager in training to take her place. I am to all of the paper work because he does not know how, but he is in charge.

I sent my regional an email asking why he feels I cannot run the place for three months. I have sent him pages, as well as left messages on cell phone and two months later I have still not heard from him. I am an african american woman, and the only african american in my region. I would like to know if you think this is some sort of discrimination

I have to write a paper about a controversy. Mine is why does America think it is ok to use money to bail people out of jail. For example.....somebody commits a crime. They somtimes have two choices. The choices being you either spend a certain amount of time in jail or you pay a certain amount of money. I have to write about why America thinks that by making people pay money will teach them a lesson or get them to never do something again. I would love to hear everyone's opinion on this and any important information to help me write this essay.

If there were 6 members in a family and 5 signed a form for 1of them believing that it was for that 1 person to fight for something for all of them trusting that 1 person, then at a later date found out that they signed everything over to that 1 person would it be legal and if so would there be anything that the other 5 could do about it or would the law be on the side of the 1 person. Okay by law?? does anyone know can department of family and children check into your personal records. If they ask for copies of your bills and such can they go into those records?? I was told by Law that they CAN NOT check your ss #, and I know this is pretty much true. But what about other records? Should you give them information that has nothing to do with anything else?? Like your bills and stuff.

What is the matter with America!!! It's ganna fall apart! All we care about is OUR pleasure! OURSELVES! America is a very immoral country; everyone is pushing for gay rights! A judge today has revoked Brittiney Spears visitation rights with her children. Does this judge not know who she's dealing with? I mean this is going to be all over the news tonight; on "Entertainment Tonight"; Jay and Leno will address it.

My brother is 21, last year he worked at Target and was fired for stealing. The employer filed charges and the police came to target. My brother wasn't arrested, however, the police took down his info and gave him until a certain day to come to the station for finger printing. He went and got finger printed and paid court fees. This took place in the state of PA where he goes to school and we were doing some
research regarding their laws. It states on his record that he was convicted of a "summary offence". The info we were reading states that a summary offence is only being convicted of a crime IF the sentence includes incarceration. He never went to jail. He applied for a job and on the application it asks "have you ever been convicted of a crime?" and he stated no. The job ran his background and that summary offence came up, now they're trying to hold him accountable for lieing on his app, when in reality it isn't a lie because it's not a crime. can they still fire him?
