I'm not being racist - I just what to know how everyone feels...should the UK deport all muslims in the wake of this weekends terrorist attacks? And yes I know that most muslims are decent law abiding citizens, but in WWII we interned all Germans, Japanese and Italians for the safety of the majority. Is now so different?

My dad opened up a small business checking account with a bank and put me on the account without me knowing. Is this legal? I think he forged my signature or gave them my driver's license# to open the account. I had no idea until I went to open an account with that bank and they informed me I already had one account with them. I never signed any papers, didn't agree to anything verbal or written. His company now appears on my public records which is my next concern what can I do to rectify this. I don't keep in contact with anybody in my family and I'm pretty pissed off at the bank for approving this without my authorization . I have to get this resolved a.s.a.p even if I have to get an attorney

Article 3 of the Nixon impeachment stated, in part, that Nixon "has failed without lawful cause or excuse to produce papers and things as directed by duly authorized subpoenas issued by the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives on April 11, 1974, May 15, 1974, May 30, 1974, and June 24, 1974, and willfully disobeyed such subpoenas."

Isn't this what Bush has been doing with the Plame investigation, the U.S. Attorney firings, the NSA wiretapping, the Abu Ghraib torturing, etc.?

Haven't we finally had enough? Are we really going to let Bush and Cheney walk on all this? No personal attacks, please; I am just looking at the public record. Just state your opinion on the facts.

It's completely obviously that the attorneys at my job have favorites. This is what I am mad about. Every six months, every employee is supposed to have a 6 month review. The purpose of the review is to discuss your job performance. The majority of the time a raise is given at that review. Well, it's been 4 months passed my 6 months and I still haven't gotten a review. But, my attractive co-worker, who the attorney's adore, just had her review today. Also, this same co-worker got a 1 year anniversary party whereas other co-workers that have worked here over a year didn't get a party. I can give more examples of favoritism, but I probably sound bitter. But I am so mad, I am thinking about quitting.

I fell at work and broke my foot. My employer has been annoyed that I'am not back yet. I enjoy my job very much. But I'am not able to walk at all yet. I have received two checks from my employer. But, they have paid me from my vacation and sick time. So when I return to work, I won't be able to use that time.I have also been asked to sign a leave of absence form. I have never been hurt at work before. I have been working at this institution for more than 20 years.

This man who was on fire, was the driver of the jeep, He set out to kill as many people as he could, beit, men women children, black or white...
He is now in hospital, I suppose this stupid country will give him all the help he need, ie skin grafts, and pain relief...

I feel they should do none of this let him suffer, and feel the pain he was prepared to inflict on the inoccent people he set out to kill..

I am not a hard person, but sick to death of people who are prepared to die in the name of religion, life is for living, after all we are not here for long as it is..

So the sooner these fanatics are taught right from wrong the better, also if they live in this country send the whole family back to the point of origin, maybe this might deter them, after all the UK isn't all bad..

As of my earlier post, the end of the lease was June 30 2007, and notice was send through the e-mail on May 7th and i also got a reply from them also through e-mail on May 7th.

I just talked with someone at the District Justice and was told that as those notices are printed and it apears clearly that it was the tenant that replayed (the tenent is a police officer and he sent the reply from his work) then the notice are ok.

So its been almost 60 days since the notice, also there is no clause in the lease as a month to month, after the expiration of the lease. It says clearly that the lease has to be remade.

Theres no automatic renewel , a new lease has to be drawn up.

As to why I didnt want to go to court was that i heard that they cant play around with me for 60days or more. And i was looking for a way to make them move faster.

As i said earlier, they told me that they were moving in 3-4 weeks, but the person that is(renting) them the place cannot be found.

to vote against their own self interest and for the interest of the wealthy?

For example

Lower taxes
By lowering taxes the rich save a huge a mount of money (yes because they pay a huge amount of money) while the middle class and lower class save less money and in return have to pay more than their tax savings in new or higher user fees.

Social security
By privatizing it, the owners of the system will make huge profits while the participants will receive less in benefits.

Medical insurance
The top dogs of the corporations make an obscene amount of money, while middle and lower class pray that if a health issue arises that they will be taken care of.

The war
In hindsight, the war was based on illussion. Yet if you are of the right stripe are still for it but against raising taxes. The pro business pres has lowered the taxes to be paid currently but in reality has raised future taxes.

How do the powers that are push our buttons so magically to get us to accept this

US laws are made by lawyers for lawyers to benefit themselves. There are more lawyers per capita in the US than anywhere else in the world. The cases drags on for too long. The lawyer who is aggressive, cheats and tricks the opponent, always wins.

If a guy kills a cop in the presence of 10 people, the case drag on for 2-10 years before anything happens. Actually, he should be executed the next day and save millions of dollars for the tax payers.

What do you say ?

In late march my boyfriend, our roomate and I were all living together in a 2bedroom apt near Milwaukee. My roomate, who I thought at that time was a really good friend, called the cops to report us for paraphenalia in our home. It was a huge drama case but to make a story short, my boyfriend was arressted first for a warrant he had for a traffic ticket. They searched the apartment. I was freaking out outside calling people I knew for help. I had never ever been involved with the cops and was scared my boyfriend was being arressted. An officer came outside and asked who the bong belonged to and (even though it was not mine) I immediately said it was. This is why: My boyfriend was currently resolving a court case for a previous possession ticket which he was on a signiture bond on and I 'took the blame' for it thinking he wouldn't get in trouble for it. However, I was also arressted and questioned and we both got two possession of paraphenalia tickets out of the situation.
