This man who was on fire, was the driver of the jeep, He set out to kill as many people as he could, beit, men women children, black or white...
He is now in hospital, I suppose this stupid country will give him all the help he need, ie skin grafts, and pain relief...
I feel they should do none of this let him suffer, and feel the pain he was prepared to inflict on the inoccent people he set out to kill..
I am not a hard person, but sick to death of people who are prepared to die in the name of religion, life is for living, after all we are not here for long as it is..
So the sooner these fanatics are taught right from wrong the better, also if they live in this country send the whole family back to the point of origin, maybe this might deter them, after all the UK isn't all bad..

Ken, with regards to Muslims been blamed, this can not happen, they are not all the same, I rember when the IRA blew up the Pubs in the 70's, people started to hate all Irish....
We have to understand they are not all terrorists, then you get the other extreme, anybody with dark skin will be deemed as terrorist....

I agree it is wrong of this country to bless these people with the privileges,liberties and freedoms that they are trying so hard to destabilise. However, the Police and intelligence services need as much information that can be obtained from these scumbags, and because of this he should be treat for injuries so he can be interrogated and then handed one of those charming orange overalls and shipped off to Guantanamo Bay, asap.

if these nutters had succeeded in breaching the doors there would be many Innocent men , women and children being treated for horrific burns.and at least one of the terrorists was a doctor.
if this is done in the name of Islam then it sucks.
plenty of people in their own circle must have known something was up , but , because of their contempt for our way of life , nothing ever gets reported to the police.
its time Muslims decided which way they are going to go.

Presumably he was fully prepared to and wanted to die. I understand he was struggling with the person trying to put out the flames. So then, our keeping him alive could be seen as a punishment.
And a fanatic cannot be 'taught' anything, by definition. They KNOW that they are right, which is the scary bit.

1) The people standing around the jeep didn't know whether he was a perpetrator or a hostage.
2) if they use your solution, what do you think would happen to any of the hostages or prisoners of war they have in Afghanistan or Iraq?

Yeah. It's starting to look like Muslims are going to be profiled as potentially dangerous. Even the "politically correct" crowd seem to be coming to that point of view. It's too bad, but is seems inevitable and logical.

We can only beat terror by showing that we are still civilised, and not barbaric murderers like the terrorists.
So, we nurse this man back to health. We assume that he's innocent until found guilty in a court of law. We give him a fair trial. If he is found guilty we pass appropriate sentence. Which if he is guilty of what most of us believe he probably is, would be to spend the rest of his days in prison.

Id have been happy to help this guy by putting the fire out. Everybody in the area should have been able to piss on him until the fire was out. I would have left him to die on the sidewalk too.

to save his life so as to get the info from him was of course the proper thing to do but other than that get him out of that bed as soon as he can walk and send him packing and all the others of his kind and all good Muslims come on raise your voices about this scum otherwise you might reap the aftermath at a later date
