Lots of white men date and marry black women in my part of the world. My boyfriend is white too, and I am black. I actually prefer to date white men.

I have dated white men before. I think you don't see too many white men dating white women because 1. they are not physically attracted to us, 2. they aren't attracted to us unless we are "bi-racial" or have "good-hair", 3. They can not handle that many balck women are very opinionated and speak their mind.

I say this because I am constantly told that I'm "pretty for a black girl" by white men AND women. I think that many white men want to date us, but are scared about what people will think socially, or some are just outright not attracted to us. Another theory I have is that they may "fool around" with a black woman on the side, but not want anyone to know about it. I have been hit on by a lot of married white men. They look at me and wink their eye while their white wife isn't looking.

I have had a very close romantic relationship with a black woman and I am 'caucasian'. If you need to identify with a group, then go ahead, but I never once thought about the idea that I was white and she was black. We were just two people who got along. What I can't stand is that we'll go to the supermarket and be buying stuff--talking together--and then when it's time to check out, the cashier will go, "Are you two together?" Like, duh!!! I can't wait until we have a world that is color blind, but people are just so damn insecure they have to identify with a group, with music, with style. My partner loves opera and ballet. She thinks it's silly to call yourself 'african-american.' She's never been to Africa. She's just plain American as I am. And it's not like she is middle class. She grew up in North Philly. 'Interracial couples' have increased 10 times since 1980's so one day we'll all be an olive blend. If Quentin Tarantino wants to be black, good for him. If Condi Rice wants to be white, great. People, there's more important things in life than this race thing. So get a life. My attitude must show 'cause when I go out, all the black girls give me the eye, and I give it right back ; ) And if you're a black girl, you know why--cause we're all one race--the human one. And you have to relate to all people--otherwise life would be damn boring!

nicely Jey Boo. once you're happy, then no you may inform you or make you sense otherwise. you may desire to renowned however. White men can look as harmless and straightforward as they %, yet remember. they are going to be the 1st to cut you up or injury you in the previous a black guy. constructive, black men have their flaws, such as you have pronounced in the previous, yet white men may additionally carry fairly some luggage which you will no longer know approximately till the 1st year or so. in basic terms be secure.

*raises hand*

I would in a heartbeat!

True some white men are not attracted to black women, as most folks in general except Asian girls stay within their race. I gotta clear this up! White guys do like black women, most of the time when I see a black woman with a white guy she is very dark skinnded, so you can scratch the idea they only want mixed types.

In fact, I catch white men staring at myself or other (oftentimes dark skindded) black women.

Also, sometimes white men have a different way of approaching black women that is very subtle and very easy to miss.

Let's not forget that black women in general make it clear they only want a black man, so of course white men aren't going to be hitting on us as much. Then it doesn't help that some black women who do want to date out of the race justify it as being bc black men don't want them. Who really wants to be 2nd choice?

I see this sometimes. I just remembered, one of my Dad's friends married a black woman.

Funny vt500ascott2, that is not what the black chick (Monica) I seen for a 1 1/2 year said to me....but I wasn't going to bring that up on here until I seen your stereotypical comment.

MEEEEEEEEEEE!!! And I do. Black woman dating white men is one of the less occurring mixing of races because of the double standard that surrounds black women dating white men. I don't understand it either, but I don't others incompetence stop me from going after what I want, and neither should you. Good Luck!!!! *u*
