I just saw a 10 years old child working in my neighbor's backyard, he and his dad is doing pavement work for the drive way. This is not the first time I saw this child, he always worked in the yard afterschool hour or in the weekend. ( They're not related to my neighbor-white, they looked hispanic) It's kind of hot outside, about 90 degrees outside, however he and his dad always worked together, does this constitute as a child laborer or should I just leave them alone, since they're working for a living?

i Haven't talked to my brother in a while.

I thought I saw some one else in his car picking someone up that I didn't recognize at Caltrans.

When I called sunnyvale pd to do a welfare check on him one night, they didn't want to disturb the neighborhood or him so they just left a note in the morning, when he wouldn't have been there anyway, that is if he's still working. They didn't bust in the door. So how do they know if he's alright?
I tried to call. and there was no answer.

I have been harrasssed by the sunnyvale plice.. One actually got a job in Sacramento and illegally towed my car.

Some cops are mental cases, he may be afraid of them. I have been. but then what do you do if you need help?

Trying to research information on any sovereign individuals left in the USA that are only responsible to common law or inalienable rights. Are there really 2 classes of individuals "U.S Citizens" and "State Citizens" According to the US Dept of State, one can relinquish their US Citizenship by voluntarily denying all benefits, but I find no information on being able to at the same time maintain their Birthright Citizenship of the State they were born in.

To make a long story short, my hubby rec'd and injury at work that resulted in spinal fusion. He has an attorney , has been to a depostioin, has a mediation with the state workers comp rep and the lawyers involved next month ( this has been going on for 18 months now) His lawyer says things look very very good for his case, but informed him now is crutial and to be carefull what he does. He does hardly anything as the surgery was a few months ago, he can not bend, lift etc. However, the lawyer said make yourself sparse, do not even carry a bag of groceries ,even if the bag even contains a loaf of bread, because they could be watching. Is this true? Also, I have heard that they can watch you even after you obtain your settlement and request money back if they see you do something. My hubby is afraid to grab the garden hose and water the plants, he will sit in lawn chair and throw the dog a toy, after all he is disabled ,but not dead. How carefull does he have to be?

My friends and I were arguing this and I wanted to know if anyone could answer it.What could happen if you rented a uhaul type of truck and dropped it off clean and full of gas by the appointed time on the agreement BUT instead of dropping it off at the local location they expected you to leave it at you dropped it off in another state?

Would they techinically be able to sue you or have any criminal charges against you for that or would they just be able to sue you or bill you for the extra mileage you used?

Keep in mind the truck would be unharmed, clean, full of gas and dropped off by the time specified on the paperwork the only thing different is the city, state isn't the one you agreed to.

Be sure to include how you know your answer is correct or if it is just a speculation.

Thanks.

My neighbor lent us the land, for our needs. This was at least 15 years ago. Since then it's been our responsibility, we're the ones to mow, and trim. We've made use of it as though it were our own, and have had no problems with the neighbor, until recently. Her, and her brother have both, verbally, assaulted my husband, and I.
The piece in question is apx 8' x 100'.
We'd like to know if it is LEGALLY ours now. I've heard they forfeit it after 7 years.

I would like to know if some of you kind people can let me know if you agree or disagree with some of my views on marijuana. I don't want to start a debate here, just seeing if I am the only person who thinks like this. My main point is that marijuana is dangerous. I have observed the following reasons in my whole life. They are not scientific findings at all.

1. As much of a cliche that it is, pot truly is a gateway drug. I don't think anybody just wakes up one day and decides to smoke crack. All the kids I knew from high school who went on to be major drug users smoked pot in school.

2. If you use this theory that pot is the gateway drug it has to be linked to at least half of all theft, at least half of all robberies, at least a quarter of all murders, and somewhat involved in at least a third of domestic violence cases. Again these ar all numbers I came up with by myself based on observations in my own town after seeing if first hand at the place I work, and by reading about it.

Murder in the first a basic definition
So what is the difference in one choice or the other after all a choice is a choice and a choice to take a life is defined as beloew. As I see it abortion is a choice as is murder and it is clearly A Premeditated choice.

SO why is one choice socially acceptable and the other a capital crime?

What is wrong with this NATION or WORLD?

Premeditated murder is the crime of wrongfully causing the death of another human being (also known as murder) after rationally considering the timing or method of doing so, in order to either increase the likelihood of success, or to evade detection or apprehension.

State laws in the United States vary as to definitions of "premeditation." In some states, premeditation may be construed as taking place mere seconds before the murder. Premeditated murder is usually defined as one of the most serious forms of homicide, and is punished more severely than manslaughter or other types of murder.

Now that Mike Nifong has suffered his fate of losing his law license and lying to the courts, investigators, and the three lacrosse players. Do you think Nifong should be put in prison ?

Do you think Nifong should be required to pay resitution and legal fees to the three guys he falsely accused of rape?

Do you think the three players should be allowed to file a multi-million dollar federal civil rights lawsuit against the the State of North Carolina and Durham County. I think the state and county officials should be held responsible for defamation of character to these three young men.

What are your thoughts about a possible federal civil rights lawsuit in this case?
