If it were up to you, which would you choose?

1) Everyone can go barechested. as long as they are not engaging in lewd behavior or doing it for money. (New York has this rule.) If men can go shirtless, it's unfair to prohibit women from doing the same thing.

2) No one can expose mammary glands in public (with an exception for breastfeeding). It's nature, not the law, that makes men and women different.

3) Las requiring clothing in public should be repealed. It's a religious rule (remember Adam nd Eve?) and it does not hurt anyone else if someone doesn't wear clothes. Apply any public health concerns evenly to the clothed and unclothed.

Also, if law 1 is chosen and an employer allows BOTH men and women to go topless at work, can someone sue, saying the employer has created a "hostile work environment" and is therefore engaged in sexual discrimination/harrassment?

Here is the deal, I have already put in my 2 weeks notice this is my last week. My boss was out all last week, due to family problems, and just yesterday, the boss came in just to say hi and bye. And said by the way, your supervisor got in a car accident and is in the icu. Should I feel bad for quitting , feel like I am leaving them hanging short handed. Life is so unexpected....

I ordered my father a nice watch for father's day from an ebay seller and imagine his face when he opened the package and there were freaky sexual toys there! How can I explain this to him?

Not only this, but I would like to use them since I paid for them. Is it ethical to see if they are any good and then send them back if not since it was not what I ordered ??

The woman begins to create a Trust account for her great-grandchildren, with the money that is in the account. The papers to create the trust are signed by the woman and include the names of who the money is for. The papers were submitted to the bank for finalization. The bank never finishes it's part. The woman's daughter, who is on the account, withdrawals the money. She promises to pay it back. The woman passes away, so the woman's daughter never pays the money back, and completely ignores any request for the money to be paid back. This woman then passes away. Would those papers be enough proof to hold up in court that the money is to be repaid to the names on the papers?? Thanks for any advice!!
I'm just curious about the paperwork itself, not whether the bank finished it's part or not. I just want to know if the paper would be proof enough to take court the money is owed.

My landlord is threatening to evict me because I'm 1 3/4 months behind on rent. I haven't paid my rent because the range (kitchen was furnished by landlord) hasn't worked since I moved in, causing me to buy a camping stove just to be able to cook. I checked the fuses and determined the range itself is the problem. All of my complaints about this, both in voicemail and in person, have been ignored. Am I within my rights to refuse him rent since he's refused me maintenance?

Our neighbour has complained a week later after painting the fence that we have got paint on her car. When checking there are 4 tiny dots of paint round a dent, she is saying the whole panel might have to be re-done. However we have heard she is a known pain in the backside and is also trying to sell the car. Her husband has been to jail for car ringing and I think she may have sprayed paint on it herself to try and get money out of us. We have only been in out new house 6 months. Our other neighbour ex police said she used to worry the old lady who used to live in our house quite often with demands. She has no proof we have done it and I'm really not sure we did. What rights do we have? She says she is going to send the bill round from BMW.

my father died two years ago and my step mom said there was no will. I wouldn't doubt that so I went along with whatever she wanted since she was my fathers wife and deserved the respect. Well then a year later she dies and again no will. She had no kids, just my dads daughters. Her sister came to my dads house and along with my fathers sister they sold EVERYTHING and did not even let my sister and I know anything was up for sale. Is this legal?

Compared to pot, alcohol is really far more powerful on the human mind and body. I have experimented with both for sometime, and I have always has good times while stoned rather than drunk. I have seen a lot of people die from alcohol poisening; but never have I heard of a Marijuana poisening, or "overdosing." I also rarely hear about (and by rarely I mean twice in my life) about a "stoned driver killing a person while driving under the influence," and they were likely just unfortunate accidents that would have likely occured with pot involved or not.

Nonetheless, alcohol is far more addicting and dangerous and I believe that America has the wrong substance extremely available to the public legally. For those about to question the movie "REFER MADNESS," I assure you people do not behave like that on Marijuana, and I do believe that alcoholics are the ones causing fights, accidents, divorces, and are those more likely to rape someone. And one cannot over dose on weed....

I've been wondering this for a while. Does censorship on television and radio violate the station's Freedom of Speech? TV and Radio nowadays are full of bleeps and blurs, but shouldn't this content be protected by Freedom of Speech? Is it the station that edits these things so they don't lose ratings to angry parents or is there a law that prohibits these things from being shown/heard on tv/radio?
