okay i was reading sextuplet birth story, in which 3 newborns already died, the others are in critical condition.. so i had to ask myself. since those babies died after birth, is there a law that can put parents behind bars for not following the doctors'orders in another words, face some kind of murder charges?

Answering the question from a strictly legal perspective a person is not required to act to help another UNLESS there is a special duty that dictates they must.

Some examples of special duty or special relationship are

parent/child
doctor/patient
police/citizen
etc. etc.

In this case it really depends on what the facts are and what can be proven.

You dont think the parent suffered enough watching 3 babies die, you want them to go to prison too?

Yes, there is a law, its called child abuse, or negligence, and it must be PROVEN the parents did it knowing it would cause harm. In the case you mentioned, it would be hard to prove, since they likley died under care and supervision.

Kind of a cold hearted question if you ask me.

The doctors recommended that the couple abort several of the fetuses but they chose not to. The doctors didn't "order" it, nor can they. And I really don't see the logic in prosecuting the parents because several of the babies died because they didn't kill them...

What doctor’s orders? Do you mean the doctor’s ADVICE for selective reduction? That was not an order, that was advice. I wouldn’t have done it either. These parents are not guilty of anything other than hoping to save the lives of ALL their children.
