I honestly don't know.
I suppose it'd be because they consider the baby innocent.
They fail to consider that the choices a "guilty" person makes are largely based on their environment, upbringing, and experiences. No one chooses to be evil. Most criminals are victims of circumstance in one way or another.

An abortion is akin to giving an innocent life the death penalty with no crime committed. Capital punishment is the taking of a life for an act committed. Life sentences may be a more humane form of punishment but not a true deterrent to many crimes. It could also be argued that many situations that criminals are born into, being raised as responsible law abiding citizens is next to impossible. When one commits hienous crimes they made the choice, a fetus has no such opportunity.

There is a difference between taking the life of someone who has taken life, and taking an innocent life. A child conceived by a mother who doesn't want it has committed no crime. A man or woman who takes life purposefully, especially the lives of children, deserve to get the worst punishment possible. In my opinion abortion should be considered murder, therefore punished by death.

First of all there is a difference between capital punishment and abortion. When a baby murders somebody from inside of their mother you let me know. And second of all the cold bloody killers should not only be killed they should suffer before theyre killed. And finally most of the people that get killed in prison spend years on Death Road before they are killed.

Think of capital punishment as retro-abortion.

My guess would be that the itty bitty baby they consider innocent and the person in jail for some crime that allowed for capital punishment to even be on the table may be how!
But hey, what the heck do I know anyways??? hehehe

Well, the baby hasn't been given the chance to make any choices in life yet.
The death row person has at least had the opportunity to have control over their life and make choices, and obviously they made some horrible ones that hurt many people.
I disagree with both.

I think this is an excellent question. People who think that's a baby are ignorant. It's a clump of cells. You can argue it on moral grounds but not medical. If you argue it on moral grounds, then you have to also be against capital punishment or you are judgmental and a hypocrite.
