do you play their game of comparing your self to others by the brand you wear......[and have sold your SELF out to]?

This is a very perceptive question.

I've always been slightly surprised at certain people's willingness to act as a mobile advertising hoarding for brands of clothing.
It's all very well liking, say Abercrombie sports wear - it's quite another to have a t-shirt or sweatshirt advertising the brand across the chest.
Not only do Abercrombie not pay the owner, but the owner pays them!

But the rise of shops like Primark has shown that all is not lost.
Haven't you noticed that the people with the most (obviously) expensive (casual) clothes, are generally the people with the lowest disposable income? And even lower self-esteem?

Weird.

I think we all get used to and comfortable with the brands we been using. it's ingrained after a while.

No, I still compare labels, products and prices. Have done it most of my life, and will continue.
