I posted an immigration question here, in the politics section. Yahoo removed my question. I've been trying to get an answer as to why for two weeks now, with no result. Can honest open discussion exist, if unpopular ideas are censored?

All my life I have been told to hate the Japanese, despise them, becuase I was Korean. I never understood why, but to see what they did, words are not enough. How can a sane human being do this. Yet the worst thing is they don't teach this in their history and that these scientist got away with it. I understand where the anger in my previous generations came from. I live in the US and I was looking for tenants through the internet and there are number of people who was interested in renting my property.
Most of those emails come from different countries, for example, UK, Nigeria, Netherlands etc.. One person told me he wil send me money orders from his country, and the others told me upfront that they will pay via cashier's check/money order. I was just wondering, why can't they open a US account here, with all the frauds going on, can I trust this method of accepting payment?

i got the fellony withheld on ajudication so but i was never charged with it so does that mean i have a felony or not..

I am a university student and am really unhappy with some of my housemates and want to move out, I have to find a replacement as stated in the contract - which I have already done and have found one.
The two tenants that will not agree are the ones I do not get on with and are making life very difficult, is there anything I can do?

Suppose some 5 year old boy 'H' raped some 5 yr old girl 'G' TWENTY (20) YEARS BACK.
That girl 'G' did NOT tell about that incident to anybody.Now both are 25 year old.
IF now G wants to get H punished for that incident which occured 20 yrs back ...
Will police ragister such First Information Report?
Will magistrate proceed upon such complaint or will he dismiss that? (India)

I have been working for the State of Michigan for over a year now, and I am not needed any more and will be loosing my job next week. My question is will I be eligable for unemployment because I only worked part time in the fall and winter due to my crazy college schedule. I was full time last summer, and also I have been full time since I was done with classes in early may.

Here is our problem... My husband and I have been going round an round with his ex since the last time she took us to court and we won joint custody of his daughter. She keeps, keeping the child from us, sometimes for weeks at a time!! Each time our lawyer finally sends her a pretty nasty letter and she finally lets us have her back, but this time that isn't working, and this is the second time she has pulled this crap this year!! We've had enough!! We tried just going over when it was our time to get her, and pick her up, but the cops wouldn't help us, they didn't want in the middle... So the only other thing I can figure to make her finally stop, is to press contempt of court (because she is!!) And see if maybe jail time will finally make her see we are not going to do this anymore and scare her enough to stop it!! She is just hurting Hope and thats not fair!! Thanks for any help!!

I don't feel like firing someone is a good option, but I believe there needs to be some consequence to getting busted. It is our policy to not use your cell phones at all in the building while you are working. Any good ideas out there?

okay so maybe not excally but i'm very ticked off right now! and I don't know what else to do I can't keep waiting for this SSI **** to start coming in!
My mother gets food stamps and has her rent adjusted for her income and that is nothing but she still has to pay something! I work my partner works! We have a house with a high mortage we are not married so I can't just take his money to support my mother.. I'm bone dry! i'm doing my best efforts to stay positive and try to side with the goverment my mom isn't the go getter she use to be . my mom has no car her truck blew up she has no income minus me. She has a bad foot shoulder heart hand she can't hold anything semi heavy prior to dropping it She just dropped a cheese cake today! trying to cook food!
I know the state thinks they are helping by giving food stamps but if SSI won't give her jack.. we are fighting it this time but i hear it can take forever! I'm out of money can't start my family due to supporting her. WTF to do

I have received some response to my previous question. I am trying to flush him out because he posed as a seller of certain items on ebay and through this I did not recieve my items and lost money in the transaction. I have tried to contact him through multiple e-mail addresses and I am trying to rectify the situation. I am not slandering as one response stated. My debit card was stolen and fraudulently used?
I've spoken to the bank, and I've also had them put a stop on my card. This kid who took my card (has to be a kid, we are talking $25 worth of Dairy Queen on top of $25 worth of McDonalds.. etc) totally wiped out my checking, and it will take weeks to return my money after an investigation. So I have a couple questions.
1. Should I file a POLICE report?
2. Will they do ANYTHING to catch the person who did this, or just confiscate the card?
3. There is no way I will pay my bills on time with all of my money gone, so what can I do to protect myself from repercussions against MYSELF for not being able to pay my bills now?!
ACK. I am so mad. :\

My fiancee is mixed and he went into look for an apartment. Before he could even ask i fthey had an apartment they told him no. he said they looked at him funny. I called today and they said they have one that has been open for a month. he went last week and they said they didnt have anything! Can we sue for racial discrimination?

JFK's murder..i am studying it for a project and I would like to know if everything is right, or f i am missing info.?

John F Kennedy was killed in a convertible while riding in a parade. He was shot 3 times. The first shot made him go foward but the second pushed him back viciously, not sure where the third one went.

They accused a man (oldsfield or suttin) of doing it and before going to the trial that guy was shot by a guy with terminal cancer. The guy with cancer was sent to jail but died from cancer anyway.

Now, to investigate oldsfield whom was accused they learned that he had a single bullet riffle meaning he would have to shoot reload, shoot reload,etc. There wouldnt have been enough time, by the time he had reloaded his gun JFK would have already been foward. Therefore, that couldnt have happened.

you can also tell which why someone was shoot from the angle the bullets are in the body tissue.

My neighbor... some older guy and his wife have been complaining and complaining to the management about us for making noise at night and sometimes early in the morning, but we really cant help it! I think they are just jealous because I dont hear anything coming out of their bedroom... Anyway, we they succeeded and we got our eviction letter. Is it legal?

I think we've had our fill of freedom of speech. Yeah it was fun for a while, and absolutely neccessary when speaking out against tyranny, but who invokes the first amendment most now? Usually radio DJ's defending their right to act like juvenile perverts, or movie directors spewing gore and filth at the public.

Now I know it is something you don't like to hear...you know people talk bad about other attorneys let alone yourself talk bad but I have a question about an attorney. If someone pays you $30,000 to defend them on a Criminal case and you have a month and a week to prepare...what are you going to do? Our attorney had that exact time and he never once looked at the file until the DAY OF TRIAL. He didn't call not one witness or aliby to prepare them for trial, he didn't even call them to tell them when to be in court. It was us that called the witnesses and alibys. Actually he called one witness and told her to be there on a Wednesday and she was supposed to be there the Monday before. Thank goodness we called her to tell her and everyone else otherwise no one would have shown up. He didn't get an investigator like he said, he didn't investigate anything. He met with 2 of the witnesses for only 10 minutes and that was it and it was only to tell them to expect the other lawyer to be
