I heard on the news a issue relating to three Nigerian nationals who managed to embezzel 12,000,000 from bank one. They sent most of the money to Nigeria and BankOne did not recover it.
Do you think that immigrants illegal or legal that commit crimes and are convicted should be made to serve their sentences in their original country? Or should they serve time in America on American soil, on American tax dollars?

Is it the decision of the person who is being filmed? Is it my right to say "Hey, I dont' want my face shown if that is going on TV". If that is true, does anyone know what law that would be? I was watching Little People Big World and saw the stupidist thing. Matt was speaking to a large group of people at a school and the camera panned over to show them all. Three people in the third row (could hardly see them at all) had they faces blurred and nobody else. How stupid and my question is WHY????

SHE needs to stay locked up, just because she's a rich ***** doesn't mean she should get special treatment.

...I think her sentence was SOOOO unfair, if it would've been a regular person doing what she did, this person woul've gotten 1 yr in jail. But just because it's Paris and she has money?...

Whats going on with the law in USA?... I mean, Dang. That is so totally not fair. PARIS NEEDS TO BE LOCKED UP!

How is it that a man can be charged for double homicide when he murders a pregnant woman, but abortion is okay because it's not really a baby until it's born? How does that work?

I was recently informed my definition of "sedition" was different than that used in the United States due to my being from another country (I was born here and raised in the U.S.).
My thanks to that poster (what, you expect me to silence them? No way! Seditious people should speak up rather than be silent, be patriotic rather than seditious).

What I'm asking for you to do is to first write down your definition of sedition, then look up the original sedition laws and read them, then edit your answer to add your thoughts about the differences, your insights as to why yours is the same or different than what was originally meant. Is that O.K.? If anyone else has a similar one, email me and I'll answer!

The document isn't too long, and I encourage research past my link, of course. Have fun!

Here's the link AFTER you post your own definition, then come back and add notes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sedition_Act_of_1918

I have been trying to find, unsuccessfully, the full definition of an "Enemy Combatant" or what criteria must be met for an individual to be characterized as an "Enemy Combatant." Unfortunately, all I keep finding are bits and pieces of definitions like the following:

"An individual who was part of or supporting the Taliban or al Qaida forces, or associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners. This includes any person who committed a belligerent act or has directly supported hostilities in aid of enemy armed forces."

Can anyone please provide a link to the definition of an Enemy Combatant or the criteria that must be met before an individual can be charged as such?

Thanks

First day of the month, refrigirator broke down, maintaince guys came in and fixed 4 times, finaly got me a new one, continously underground pipe broke, entire room flooded, few guys came, finally got that fixed, then, hot water was out for three four days. not done yet,,,,,,Few days later, somebody came into my apartment, stole my computer away, i am pretty sure that was done by one of apartment maintaince people, but there is nothing i can do. Now i am moving out of that apartment. but i am still in one-year contract with them. How do i let them release me out of complex? i have police report, i called 911 enmergency twice in the month, first time was a black strange male punching my door in the midnight, and second time is stealing computer.

I have been to many countries where there is not really an age limit to consuming alcohol(I have been to countries like Bosnia, Italy and MExico and have bought alcohol when I was 16 and 17) and teenagers drinking is not a big deal, hence, they do not take advantage of it and are responsible about it...In America since it is off limits till 21, it gets abused alot, hence, more violations, accidents, etc....My question is...Can America cut down in the long run on drunk driving, accidents, etc. if they leave access to it at an earlier age?

I am not sorry for the history of this nation. We are the greatest country in the world and I do not feel guilty for being American, nor do I feel as though I should share my country with the rest of the world. Especially not arab nations or hispanic nations. I feel not guilt. I am proud to be an American, and, if necessary, I would kick your *** too.

I keep seeing people write about how it is okay for illegals to make a better life for themselves, even if it means breaking our laws and sneaking across the boarders. But, are you aware that illegal aliens cause inflation (higher cost of living), lower wages, and higher taxes. That is an actual fact of reality. I don't just say that because I wish it to be true to make an arguement. Then take into consideration the effects that they have on our schools, neighborhoods, the gangs, the druken driving and hit and runs, they vote liberal, and many other seriously problems that they cause. How can you be okay with sacraficing your standard of living for them? Don't you understand that they make life harder and more uncomfortable for you? Besides, most of them are racist, sepratist, who think we some how owe them something. This is not there land. We took it from the Spainards who conqoured the incas, mayas, and aztecs. But they are proud of the language of conquest, and they refuse English.

Mormons have the Secret (Or as they say Sacred) Temple rituals including blood oaths, secret hand shakes, the wearing of garments under their street clothes with masonic emblems on them. During the Garden of Eden sequence Ministers are portrayed as emissaries of Lucifer who are only there for money. Yet Mitt Romney calls himself a mainline Christian.

Shouldn't he have to disclose the way Jack Kennedy did? Or is he something special. I know Mormons are apologists for each other right or wrong. How about some non garment wearing Bible believing folks.

A Mi. St. cop and a femail friend of his conspired to put me in jail on totally false charges. All charges were dropped the day before a jury trial, but it cost me a lot of money to prove my innacence even though the cop lied under oath and the judge ruled that it's OK for the police to lie under oath and make false statments (on police reports) and to suspects. Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as they see fit. In order to get that paycheck. I am required to pass a random urine test, which I have no problem with.
What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check, because I have to pass one to earn it for them?
Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sit on their ***. Could you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?
