He's an entrepreneur.
He knows the media has convinced most people in America to feel guilty for being successful.
The one's that are on the corners in Chicago bring in over $1000 a week on average as quoted by Chicago radio stations and still those people in Chicago hand them money. Of course the little boogers are persistent and sometimes it's easier to just throw them a couple of bucks to get them away from you.
I don't fall for it. I don't feel guilty for being able to provide for my family and I expect others to do the same.

I wonder what kind of world do we live in that ignores people's pleas for help. Churches should have a "conduit" for all helpless and God forsaken people in this country, at least. We say we do it in all these other foreign countries via foreign aid etc, but we don't have a system that tries to "nip it in the bud", which is what we should do per the Bible and per Jesus Christ. Churches have failed the forgotton and forsaken in this world, and that is why people donate money to them, so to take care of the widows, orphans, homeless. I am college educated in Business, worked my entire life, and when I tried to get any help at all, I could not because I was smart enough not to have any children I could not afford. So I am an orphan, no husband, but there's no help out there for me, either. I know it. When I fall down, I'll be there too, just like the guy on the street, and I will probably be ignored just like I ignore him. But sometimes I give them food, but not money.

There was a Sherlock Holmes story about a beggar who was a millionaire.
If the man is not a drunk or alcoholic it could be lucrative. Tax free and some people are generous.
I was in Philly one day and I stopped at a convenience store at 6:00 AM and a lady asked me for a dollar for a cup of Chili, I walked past her and bought her a cup of Chili. She threw it at me. I had an extra coat, at 9:00 on my way back from my my job she was still there and asked me for a dollar for a cup of chili. "I said I'm gonna call the cops you burned me this morning"
She dropped her shopping bag and it was full of money. I figure even if it was all ones there was at least $500.00. I worked 12 hours for $150.00.
Go figure

I dont know about the rest of the country...but in metro areas, theyre just hustlers trying to get some $$ for nothing..probably for drugs.
There are plenty of homeless shelters and soup kitchens for shelter and food.
I read this one article in the la times how some of them make hundreds of dollars a day--since then, I stick my hand out at them when they do it to me :D

I think some well off person should donate their never used travel trailor to him so he'd have a roof, then the govt. should help him for 6 months with food, lights, heat, etc. After that, he's on his own.

If he is in need, then I will donate what I can. If he is deceiving me then it will be on him.
