This letter and stamped envelope (3 cent) dated 1857, is too poet, senator and lawyer daniel Beddinger lucas. It is from his cousin and mentions many names cousin mary Washington,cousin Jefferson but most important name is John Beall, who he represented for treason and who was hung for it. Beall was all so Best friends with John wilkes Booth and it is said that he killed lincoln for not pardoning Beall. Very interesting letter, any idea of value or where i can find out more about it.

Gays and Lesbians have been living together in loving relationships sence the beginning of time. Why do Republicans claim that their forming a legal union will be a threat to the marriage of straights? Cheney's own daughter is a Lesbian! Isn't this being hypocritical? He says he stands by his daughter.She had invetro so that she and her partner (lover) could have a child! At least the Democrats tell the truth about their stand here and other areas! I would rather vote for someone who is going to tell the truth and not lie to us!

It seems most people feel that Paris Hilton deserved her 45 day jail term. However, how many people know that her alcohol level was .08 when she got the DUI? That is one drink for a woman of her size. That means most women who have one drink and drive would be charged with DUI. The DUI charged lead to the mess: she received probation for the DUI and her license was suspended. She drove while her license was suspended which violated her probation which is the reason she was jailed.

She should have meet the terms of her probation and she paid the price for that with a jail term but If she hadn't been charged with the original DUI, the rest of the events leading to her jail term wouldn't have happened.

Putting aside whether you like or dislike Paris Hilton, do you think a woman who has one drink and drives home should be charged with DUI?

if an adult girl 'initially' gives consent to have sex with a guy, but as they get going, the guy starts to get aggressive, and violent. by that time the girl no longer wants to have sex, so she repeatedly asks him to stop. but the guy wouldn't. and he starts using force while she tries to stop him using verbal and physical signs. (pushing him away, screaming, crying, punching, slapping and kicking).
The whole act in the end results in multiple bruises, bleeding lip a torn nipple and a crying girl. and one satisfied drunken man.
how would you define this??

My ex husband was in jail in another state for failure to get a job and pay child support. He began writing me while in jail, telling me how sorry he was for the awful way he treated me, begging for forgivness, and declaring his undying love for me & promising to come home as soon as he was released from jail to finally right his wrongs & provide for his family. So I foolheartedly sent $2000 & not suprisingly all communication stopped. I heard his staying with another woman and plans to attend a court hearing this Tuesday regarding his case. Can I request a refund of the cash bond I paid? I feel if he's not going to support his family he can sit in jail!

I would like to know what the consequences are for being caught with a small amount of drugs, in the state of California.

I know it will most likely vary by drug, so i mainly want to know what will happen if you are caught with Marijuana or Meth.



What i mainly know is, there is generally no jail time if you don't resist arrest. The court will generally choose alternatives like; drug school, fines, or community service.
But i'm not sure if that's all true.

And the judge said she looked 16, referred to her continually as a "young woman" and said she dressed provocatively. She was wearing a bra and a thong. Which the rapist would never have known unless he'd taken her clothes off.
He was sentenced to 4 months. The judge's name was Julian Hall. What was he thinking of?

Sure, we all think that sex with children is disgusting and horrible right NOW at this point in history, but social evolution is unavoidable. Is it possible that there will one day come a point when society decides that adults being attracted to children is a perfectly natural and acceptable frame of mind? Will future children be taught about the "wonderful" things that a relationship with an adult might bring?

If you saw a cop do somthing very wrong on duty can you make a citezn arrested ?? or what can you do if you see this happen and don't wanted to watch it happen any longer.

If you can't do anything can you call someone to help ??

If you get pulled over for no reason at all, do you have to get out of the car. Better yet if you feel your rights are being abuse, can you call for more help ?? like "911" ??

well..i work at a grocery store..and they have a phone with 2 or more lines..and everytime im on my break or lunch..i would use that phone to call my boyfriend to talk to him..i know its a business phone but yeah i dont have a cell..this grocery store is family owned...which means...im working under the boss(husband and wife)..well...they had a few problems with one of the employees so they went into the office afew days ago and listened to all of the calls that he made to the store...i did NOT KNOW that every conversation over the phone was being recorded...and i overheard that they all have been listening to every conversation that i've had with my boyfriend ALSO!...i know they want to see what is up with certain things that go on in the store...but i feel like they should't be able to listen to my convos without my consent...i feel like its an invasion of my privacy...do i have any rights?...or is it my fault that i talked on the phone using their BUSINESS PHONE.?..how should i act?

when Katrina hit, everyone assumed most of the people with insurance would get thier claims processed without any strings attached right I mean it was a cat 3 if not 4 hurricane that had sustained winds of 135 mph right? It is common knowledge that those winds cause the storm surge but now the big insurance giants are trying to get the government to save thier ( bleep!) because the insurance companies call most of the damage flood damage this way they can weasle out of paying up by putting the pressure on fema and claiming that they can't tell the difference between wind and flood damage, this is your chance to answer this question for me
why do we allow these scam artist to even try this crap, should there be a federal law saying if the damage is caused by a hurricane( and it's 135 mph winds which led to biloxi miss being scoured off the map, ) the insurance companies must payup or face having their ASSetts sold off to compensate those whodeserve it the people who have paid

I had a judgement from a landflord 3-4 years ago. In the judgement he stated we did some pretty foul things to his apartment when we left. I no I was responsible for the back end of the lease (for leaving early) but we 110% did not damage his property. I knowingly missed the hearing being young and dumb. He went to court with material to dis credit my character but of course did not produce any picture of the so called damage we did. we did not show up so he won. Long story short I have filed bankruptcy and I want to know if this guy is going to have a leg to stand on if he decides to contest the BK. Father of 5 married only income NEED SOME HELP.

My parents are getting divorced and it appears to be going to trial. My best friend is representing my father in the divorce. I have been informed that I may be callled as a witness for my mother regarding my fathers indiscretions. Can my best friend question me on the witness stand? If so any advise on how to avoid this would be appreciated.
