me and my girlfriend have been going out for a few months now. About one month ago, her parents saw us kissing and apparently they did not like it. They forced her to send me an email saying that i may never see her, talk to her, email her or even be her friend.

so i replied that email and next thing i know, her dad phones me telling me to stay away from his daughter.
Few days pass, and he phones me again asking me if im with his daughter although i wasnt.
I asked her to contact me using a different method and it was good for awhile till her parents found out again.
This time both her mum and her dad called me (they live in different countries)
Her mum threatened to tell my parents about what was going on (which i dont mind) and her dad threatened to make her life as miserable as possible (he uses a keylogger and checks her emails and goes through her stuff)

is there anything i can do? are the phonecalls considered harrassment?

I am doing some research. I heard of someone getting out of prison by getting "Sovereign National". Can anyone explain what this means, and what rights and stuff that person must give up? I understand that Sovereign Nation means to rule freely and independantly, but I guess I dont understand how and individual could do this. Any help would be greatful.

OK... My neighbor has trained their dog to do his "duty" in our yard (I dont know if they litterally trained him to, but he ONLY goes in our yard.) Now, This dog has horse pile "duty" cuz he is SOOOO big. We have to go and pick up their dogs "duty" before we can mow our lawn... because of the size of it. Is there any way that we can get them to be forced to keep their dog on their property... (like a fence or something) he is an out door dog that wanders the neighborhood and see's our yard as his toilet. I have 4 kids.. and I dont need them stepping in it for fear they will get lost, and because its just plain nasty!(yes, it is that big and nasty.) Is there some way to force them to keep their dog on their property? We have tried talking to them, but they are so uncivilized the laugh about it and say "sucks to be us", We have two dogs.. and clean up after ours, because its gross to not.. Our neighbors are drunks who are the white trash of the neighborhood (pardon the truth)

Stand up. I'm perplexed by your behavior. It's cool to take down the nazi or the flagrant homophobe but why you have to be so sensetive to innocent remarks.

Responding a joke with a joke is not a violation but thanks to you it is. Speak.

Both me and my boyfriend have a bank account together. He had the account first and all of the checks have his name on them. We then added me on to his account with equal rights. I was wondering if i'm allowed to sign those checks or if i have to order new checks that have both of our names. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

If a person who's not an American, nor lives in America, comes to America with a tourist visa, and dies in America; will his body be returned to the country he was born in, if it says in his will that he wants to be buried in America? Does he have the right to be buried in America, if he really, really wants it? And he put it in his will? The person is from Europe.

My child's father does not have a legitimate job, he lives in another state, he does not do anything for the child (almost no phone calls, no money sent, no visits to the child). I provide all care for my child and he has lived with me since birth. I need to file for child support but I don't have alot of money to spend on court fees, lawyers, etc. Does it cost much to just file for it? Can I file for it in CA even though my child was born in another state? Even though he doesn't have a ligitimate job, will the father still be liable for a fixed amount? Do I not get any actual money until his wages are garnished? These may seem like stupid questions but in the state of CA it is not easy to find resources on the this. Does anyone know of any?

It's better than capital punishment....but is it still ethical?

A poor chap was imprisoned for 99 years. Some get 30 years...40 years or so. What's left after that? What life can an adult have after spending 40-50 years in prison? They may even die in the term. Every human has a right to live, but by putting them away for so many years, you are taking their right away from them. What about redemption? What about forgiveness? No human being deserves to be imprisoned for more than 20 years. No crime is worth that punishment.

After watching those Fred Phelps protests and getting a little angry over their invasion of privacy on dead soldier's funerals, I wondered if it was infringing upon their freedom of religion.

In this case, does freedom of speech or protest infringe upon the freedom of religion where prayers are being read and a ceremony is being conducted in the name of Christianity?

Criminals should be handled with kid gloves. They are like kids. The will continue to do things that you stop them from doing.

We should avenge their crimes by giving them love. Eye for an eye will make the whole world blind. It's all about loving your criminals.

Being a felon, if the application never asked about any convictions and they never did a background check prior to employment? Also, never gave them a reason to doubt work skill or security....And if they do fire a person for that reason doesn't it fall under some kind of law or a claim for unemployment?

My husband's ex-wife has not followed the court's orders outlined in their settlement agreement. She has not given him half of the family photos, she has not paid the taxes on the home that they still own together, because it just hasn't sold yet, she didn't put that house on the market by the deadline that the court gave her, she does not follow the rules of our insurance, yet expects us to pay half of the charges incurred due to going out of network ($150 instead of $25), she is constantly trying to poison the children against their father, etc., etc. She knows she is in contempt, and she doesn't think he will take her to court, since we can't afford an attorney. Anyway, does anybody know how we can get forms and detailed instructions on how to do this on our own? The goal is not to get her fined or arrested. The goal is just to get her to obey the court, like my husband does each month when he writes her a check for $725...even though the kids live with us 1/2 the time.
