my friend thinks this is possible, could you please tell him why this is not possible.

No; the Court lacks in personam jurisdication (Personal jurisdiction) over God. This means that the Court has no way to haul God into Court, assuming they can find God. See, for instance, UNITED STATES ex rel. Gerald MAYO v. SATAN AND HIS STAFF, 54 F.R.D. 282 (W.D. Pa., 1971)

I think the only way this is possible is to find a bleeding heart liberal judge with no shame or conscience, and who is looking to run for a Democratic presidential candidate.

He can sue God. It's just extremely difficult to get him served with a summons.
