My ex and I have assets and money that we are still trying to disolve of. According to our divorce decree some of the items we dont agree upon are already spelled out in the decree. The ex is not wanting to split things as we already agreed upon and these items have been signed off already and notorized. What happens in a situation when one party isnt going by the decree? An example of my ex who was supposed to put money back into the joint account that we had but never did? Another example is that we have income from the previous year that is to be divided by percentages and the ex refuses to split accordingly and these items are already in the final decree. What happens now? The ex wants mediation but this stuff is already in the decree. What is the purpose of mediation and can that overwrite this contract of decree? What is the right thing to do. Ive tried discussing with the ex but they still refuse to try to work on an agreeable solution.

What is the legal definition of an auto accident?
While trying to pass, my car hydroplaned and i went over to the left shoulder to avoid a collision, two cars were coming twards me. The first car passed with no problem, but the second car went over to the shoulder and almost hit me head on. I swirved back onto the road and she went over into the grass/ditch.
She started her car back up and moved so I got back on the road thankful to avoid the accident. I was later pulled over for improper passing
Her insurance company called me asking for my policy nuber for my insurance so she culd "inform" them, no claims were filed, she just wanted them to know. Her insurance agent even said "there were a few minor scratches and you have to look hard to see them".
I told her that I wouldnt give me policy number because im not charged with the accident. she has no reason to contact them.
Now I must ask, in AR, what is the "legal" definition of an auto accident? Serious answers only please.

The insurance on my grandfathers pension had the beneficiary listed as my father. Because he has deceased, we were under the impression this wouild go to my dad's estate. The insurance company says they have to issue a cheque to my grandfather's estate. We know the executrix had tried to change the beneficiary once before, and my grandfather changed it back to my dad. We know that she will keep this and not distribute as per my grandfather's wishes. What legal action can be taken? Thanks.

Hasn't this always, and rightly, been the exclusive place of the legislature, not judges? See jcraighead@mogop.org

Hi folks. Rather a morbid query here. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to have release of passwords for internet accounts included in a will?

Well, I guess including such a request in a will is possible, but would it be granted? I use a number of internet services and would like a certain individual to have access to those accounts if I die. If my will contains such a request would it be respected by the websites in question?

I'm not talking about things like internet banking, just subscription websites. I'm presuming there is no legal authority to 'order' such a request, since the sites in question are all US-based and I'm a UK citizen, but is there any precedent for this? Thanks in advance.

This substance has been banned from products such as these in many, many countries! It was in Canada too, until Harper's government waved that caution this week.

So I won a car... now they are telling me I have to drop everything, leave my current life, and enroll at their university for 4 years to claim it. (you did not have to be a student to enter). Isn't this essentially forcing me to pay money to claim the car, which is illegal in Canada?

This contest was free, and marketed it as "win a free car!".

I am not trying to seek any "pain and suffering" damages. Only medical bills. There was a sugar spill in the grocery store. I slipped, sprained my ankle, cut on my knee, and left sciattica nerve damage to the left side of my back. The grocery store has denied any liability or negligence. What should I do? Small claims may get my medical bills paid but I am afraid of even taking it there. They are a big company and I have called around 18 lawyers. None of them want the case. Hard to prove they say. Can anyone give me any advice?

I got involved with a man who has a fiancee. I had gonorrhea, and he had, too. I told him not to tell anyone, and we self-treated it.
Then she found it out. She got tested and came back negative, yet she is now threatening to sue me, and she is making scandal, and is altogether nasty.
Is there any legal way to get her off my back?

I have to do a paper on school about controversial issues and I chose animal testing. I think there are a lot of people out there who are ok with animal testing but they know near nothing about it. I would like to know what other people think about animal testing and if you are for or against it.
