At the Muskingum County Salvation army on Putnam avenue they have a Shelter. and they have a dinner for the Low income people in the community. In the Dining room they Make the Shelter people sit at A different Table than those from the community . I was Wondering Is this a form of Discrimination?

Yes, it is discrimination. (What, all the sudden you're no longer "from the community" if you're low-income?) No, it's probably not illegal. Since the Salvation Army is a private religious organization and not a commercial enterprise or government agency, it's *probably* exempt from the same anti-discrimination regs as, say, the local high school or WalMart. It's downright rude and frankly un-Christian, though, if you ask me (which you did). I bet if you were to contact the regional or district Salvation Army administrative office, they would have a thing or two to say to those jerks. Or you might try innocently asking the people in the Putnam Avenue office for a copy of their charter: that might give you a start as to what their internal rules are (which they're probably breaking) and who to turn to if they don't follow them. I can't believe the parent organization would tolerate such a thing. Good luck.
