Even if you dont see them when you get your change back, you end up with worthless "slugs" that dont work in vending machines. What should you do about it besides give them back to to the teller if you spot them? What do the Canadiens do with U.S. coins? They are worth more, do they have a problem?

There's an idiot circulating himself on here who is a very vocal racist - he is offensive and realy makes me sick. Short of ignoring him, how should us decent people handle him?

Alright, about 3-4 months ago my former employer found out I did something crooked (I had already left the job for a few months then) and since it involved around $8,000... I was really worried that they would take me to court but since it's a huge company, actually bank, maybe they didn't want to bother? I don't know, please don't judge me, I made a huge mistake I know and trust me I paid for it, my conscience bothers me everyday, but anyhow... When I stopped working there I lived in a different address and a few months later I moved to where I am now and I just realized that if they did file a lawsuit against me they would notify me by mail right? but.. in my old address they don't have anything since they said they threw away all the mail so right now I don't know if the bank filed a lawsuit or not. I ran a background check on myself and nothing came out but I'm worried please someone tell me how to find out if they filed a lawsuit or not, is there any way to know?

Some lawmaker from NY wants to ban the "N"-word (it's a sad measure of today's society that one can't even spell a word out for fear of reprisal - but that's why I put it the way I did).

What do you think of this? Will it fix the underlying problems that generate prejudice? Is censorship and banning free speech the right way to change people?

This is a scary step, and I'm looking for other opinions.

If you carry no id, work under the table, don't apply for aid, dont use credit cards and stay in homeless shelters across the USA, could you hide from warrant charges you face? Just a theoretical question. Answer honestly.

My 18 month old and I were rear ended on the interstate and went to ER immediately afterwards. The driver lied about her insurance so it took about a month to finally track down the correct insurance company. I went to a chiropractor for about 4 months then submitted my claim. The insurance company finally made me an offer of $1500 that I find to be unacceptable. My chiropractor bills totalled $4k and the ER was $2k. They justify the offer because I didn't start chiropractor until 6 weeks after the injury and the insurance company feels that it's too long of a time to link the two.

The politicians everywhere being corrupt without any exception, very often they mislead people. They less seek good of the people or nation. They neither follow their religion or their own conscience. If they are not upright how can they decide on such matters such as reliogion, ethics, moral issues; such as gay marriage, euthanasia, divorce? Moreover they are not the authority nor they are qualified to decide upon such matters. Should we depend on them to solve religious, ethical, spiritual problems?

I think so. She has made herself a public (and reviled) figure. As such, many people feel that spitting in her face constitutes protected speech under the 1st Amendment. Even if you get arrested for it (civil disobediance), you have a pretty good case on free speech grounds.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A man spit tobacco juice into the face of Jane Fonda after waiting in line to have her sign her new memoir.

Capt. Rich Lockhart of the Kansas City Police Department said Michael A. Smith, 54, was arrested Tuesday night on a municipal charge of disorderly conduct. Smith, a Vietnam veteran, told The Kansas City Star Wednesday that Fonda was a "traitor" and that her protests against the Vietnam War were unforgivable. He said he doesn't chew tobacco but did so Tuesday solely to spit juice on the actress.
