In a divorce case my ex wife lawyer had a conversation about the case with the judge on our final court date, my lawyer had left the room and was driving home. The judge instructed My wifes lawyer to enter into the record a affidated of residence. Now as this is adding the plantif in court the judge appears to be practing law on behalf of my wife. The lawyer then produces a affidative of residency sign by my wifes mother. It is all a lie. The wife was living in another state at the time. So how could my wifes mother atest to such a thing as she lives here. Anyway do i have action againt the lawyer for entering this into the record in such a way that it was not allowed to be examined in court and is in fact a doctoring of the records.

Take two people. One is poor and the other is rich. The one that’s poor either has a public defender or has enough to get a decent but not so pushy of a lawyer. The other one hires the best lawyer money can find and may even hire more if needed. It is obvious who will win. But what if the rich man is guilty? Because he is rich he will get off free? Like OJ Simpson, Michael Jackson?

I have a question—I do things by the book and follow rules. Since there are some many rules to follow wouldn’t you end up breaking one? Or would you find loopholes like lawyers do and sneak out without breach?

Do they start to act irrational when they are about to go off their deep end & commit a lewd act? Are they allowed to socialize with other sex offenders? They seem to keep to themselves & act nervous in passing others on their way to their own places. They seem to drink a lot of alcohol. Are they encouraged to do this by the counselors? Serious question, as I am starting to have serious concerns regarding some of these people & the management has taken a vacation for an entire month!

A close relative of mine has made my 76 year old mum hand over her life savings (£244,000) by saying they want her money now rather than wait till she is dead (even though they were not in line to inherit). My mum thought they were going to look after her in her old-age because she does not want to go into an old people's home. She also wanted to make use of the money rather than see it go in inheritance tax. The person who has now received it, plans to leave the country. The money was supposed to be spent on helping that person's children but those poor children are also being dumped!
What can I do?

Let's bring back our discuss option for news stories.
We don't want to hear the PC crap about someone's feelings getting hurt. That's life!
If Yahoo's top brass is taking the heat, then they should tell those that don't like it "Take a hike, we don't want you!!"

PUBLIC FORUM like yahoo answer can solve lot of communication gap which exist between public and goverment department.

Government websites are c grade poor websites where public do not even get email of officers to whom he wants to chat or discuss issue.this is my last six year experience.

Yahoo Public forum can solve problem of police also(mrs kiran bedi).in this forum let complainant and effected police official participate to sort out problem with provision of ombudsman.it would have solved even problem like NITHARI CHILDREN TRAGEDY.Why even after 58 years of independence,we do not have timebound concept for public forum website ?

people/intellectuals have solution for all problems but where they should go ,where they should write.RTI(right to information)act can only be promoted if Mr.SURESH PACHAURI can issue stamp of rs 10(FROM POST AND TELEGRAPH DEPARTMENT),why it is taking time from goverment side since postal order are not available in POST OFFICES.

I have to do this huge project on banning book sfor school. I think it would be interesting to see how people view this topic. Do you think some books (especially ones w/ racial issues) should be completely left out of schools? Or do you think that kids should be exposed to that sort or thing?

I was reading in yahoo news that the Texas gov. made it mandatory for girls to get it as young as 11. I think that's rediculous!! Shouldn't the parents decide what they want for their children?? What's next? Where are our rights? I think that if somebody wants to get it, that's great, but I don't think it should be forced on some one who doesn't want it. I live in California and I just hope they don't pass a law like that here or i'll have to home school my daughter!!

Hello,
I worked for an automobile assembly plant for 12 years
Feeling unsure about my future employed for Ford I decided two months ago to take one of the three buyout options I was eligible for; the one I chose was the 4 year educational buyout. The requirement is that I must register for college full time, and maintain grade average of C or better.
They will pay up to 15k/year towards tuition.
I get my same health and dental benefits.
I will receive a stipend check that is 50% of my basepay, payable to me once a year

I live in Michigan.I believe Friend of The Court will probably take 65% of my stipend check.

As of now i can think of a couple questions reguarding my situation.
1) This wouldn't considered Imputing income... Would it?
2) As long as I could live off of the share of my stipend check after taxes/support; would I be required to get another job? I would like to dedicate myself 100%to my studies.

Thank You
