After getting a raise what is the legal length of time allowed before it appears on your paycheck?

I received my 3 month raise on Jan.6th, 2007. Today Feb. 2nd, it JUST appeared on my weekly paycheck just today, almost 1 month later. Legally, do they have to implement a raise in a certain amount of time?

I just got my check today with the raise. I am going to ask for back pay from the day i was given the raise but I am asking about the legal standpoint.

Not that I have ever heard. Depends on when your boss makes it effective. Did you receive back pay from that date?

Your raise should have been retroactive from Jan. 6, 2007.
