At the head shop, they cost money, don't have to have scales but it helps. I know what you mean, I went to that school too, lol.

Maybe another Topic is in order!
1. Why would your teacher/instructor/Professor want to know this?
2. What is the benifit of clearly defining the art of scoring dope?
If you must know the answers to these questions then here ya go!
a. Buying weed sacks are for Dealers. If you are the purchaser the weed will be bagged for you.
b. You do not need a scale unless you are a Dealer. The WeedMan will have your "Nick" or "Dime" pre-weighed and bagged for you. You only need to reciprocate with either $5.00 or $10.00 respectively
If you need to find the WeedMan just go ask a couple of Baked Burnouts.
If you want to deal weed - goto the nearest smoke / head shop and buy the required paraphanellia (Scales, Bags, etc)

Sure, what the hell, I will answer for your "school project"!
One buys weed from a so-called "drug-dealer" or "friend" on the "black market". Bags of marijuana are sold by gram usually in the form of relating it to an ounce (i.e. "I need a quarter of scwag" would be asking for a quarter ounce of bad to decent weed, about 7 grams is equal to a quarter ).
Cost ranges from the quality of the buds. Dirt bag schwag or "brown frown" can range anwhere from $10-$25 a quarter ounce. High end buds (KB, White Widow, nugs) are about $80-$120 a quarter ounce. These prices usually go down when the quantity bought rises. Like an ounce of schwag would range from $40-$80 (if you pay over $80 for an ounze of scwag you getting screwed or taxed by the middle man).
Most "drug dealers" have a scale so they can weigh out their bags to the perfect weight. However most casual smokers don't have a scale, once one has seen and felt a few quarters, one always knows when they got shorted!

Weed, the cost of it, and whether or not you need a scale is not a school project. The reasons why you shouldn't be doing weed while you're in school should be the topic of your project.
If you want to know these things don't preface it with the fact that it's a school project. People will answer you honestly if you just ask because you want to know.

in Vancouver where i live their are compassion clubs that sell by the gram usually at 7-9 Canadian dollars per gram. As a student i purchased my medicine from a trusted source referred to me by a friend. A scale to check accuracy would be wise as you pay for the weight. An 1/8 would run you any where from 25-35 Canadian dollars from a black-market source. In other countries the price and quality differ depending on availability and how illegal it is!!! go to your local head shop, they sell baggies and scales. or go to your local fleamarket. theyll have baggies and scales there too. and they both have plenty of pieces to choose from in case youre interested in some pipes and such. if youre selling, i mean, if youre researching on weed baggies (i dont no why you would be) but if you are, you can simply use sandwich baggies for eigths and larger amounts. cellophane works wonders to, if you smoke. or u can make little baggies out of the sandwich bags. all you need are some scissors and a lighter. good luck, this info should give you and A++++!

you dont need a scale unless youre going to deal, even then, you can always eyeball it. i get bags from rag shop.. they fit like 1.5g and the bags themselves are very cheap. many hobby shops may carry them... look for the bags that are meant for buttons, just ask where a sewing or button section is in the store. if you want a scale because you think people are ripping you off... just dont buy from them. YOURE the customer not them... also never front money, even to a friend unless its a REALLY good friend.

Um... it differs.. you usually buy them from a drug dealer in some shady place downtown. I don't think you need a scale. I don't think you should be doing a report on where do get drugs and how much they cost though, its best not to include THAT much info in your report... your classmates may think you are actually selling/doing drugs yourself. Your teacher might think the same thing and refer you to the guidance department too.. you don't want to get into trouble!

actually weed comes from pencils, that's why schools have pencil sharpeners. It's a secret tho. So when you get to school, empty all the pencil sharpeners and take them home with you. they are best smoked from a pipe but some think they are really tasty and eat them.
