Even Muslims are expected to live by our laws, OK there's a few extremist out there, but the law will treat them the same as anyone else. its not the Muslim's or the Jew's or anyone else who is trying to stop us enjoying Christmas, But the small minority Political correct brigade who are the cause of our problems (otherwise know as the Enemy within) The Muslim country's i have visited have all made me welcome. OK I've not been to Iraq, that might well be a different story. If the majority of British people want to change the way the country is going, them they will at the next election, but i expect that they will all vote for the same old parties, falling for their promises yet again. Personally i hope a party like the BNP grab a large share of vote, this may well wake up Labour or Conservative, who only intent is putting themselves first.and bollocks to the voter !!

Yes that is right ,if you want to celebrate your religious holidays ,do it quietly and behind closed doors,so not to offend others ,,
If you can't tolerate others from celebrating their religious holidays ,which you don't ,because that's how you come across ,,raciest , then why should you force your religious festival holidays on others,
and spear me, the old rot about this is my country ,
it's every body's country who lives in it ,try accepting that
you will feel much better for it ,,, if you don't, you will die a very bitter person,,

It's not because of Muslims, it really isn't. It's because of petty beaurocrats and politicians. Most Muslims really don't have a problem with Christmas, it's only the extremists that do, and to be honest who gives a damn what they think. Many Muslims even celebrate Christmas (to a fashion) themselves. It's these pathetic people who so desperately don't want to offend anyone that they offend everyone in the process that are the problem. These people think they know what others think without having to ask or represent them - they're the ones who're sowing mistrust and hatred. Who knows - maybe they're even doing it on purpose to make otherwise rational people hate Muslims, it's been done before.

I celebrated Christmas, you celebrated Christmas, most of us celebrated Christmas, whether or not we were Christians. We didn't worry about offending people of other religions, mainly because non-Christians were not offended, any more than we were offended by celebrations of Diwali or Ramadan.
Either you are stupid enough to believe the BNP / Daily Mail propaganda, despite it not fitting with your personal experience, or you are evil enough to be deliberately purveying the BNP / Daily Mail propaganda.
I challenge you to explain how you, personally, were prevented from celebrating Christams by non-Christian groups!

Because they've got it right.. they stick by and enforce their laws.. here we don't..
It might be a good idea if we adopted some of their laws though.. Chop off the hands of theives.. the private parts of rapists..
Only thing I wouldn't adopt is their laws about women..
That's why people from other countries are over here.. we are supposed to be Democratic..
It's about time they cut us some slack isn't it..;-)

These Arab countries you've been to and obeyed their laws...where are they exactly? I've been to several Arab/Muslim countries and have never been expected to behave as a Muslim.
No Muslim group has ever lobbied to have Christian festivals go unobserved. Every time this has happened it has been because some British idiot has decided on it!

Clearly such a short-sighted and ignorant question shows that you have never been to Arabia.
WE are permitted to practice Christianity there with no comeback. We can live with our partners to whom we are not married, we can drink alcohol (in designated areas), our children are free to go to school where they want without any emphasis placed on learning about Islam, and we are free to go where we want when we want.
The problem is the UK's, and its obsession with stupid political correctness.

In a recent trip to Canada and in my past visits to America I noticed that they are allowed to display their flags without looking racist but in the UK it's tabboo. But then again the British are less culturally aware than the Americans / Canadians.
