I know, this is a morbid question. I don't actually have a corpse on my hands, I'm just wondering. Say gramps passes away in his sleep, and you find him the next morning. If he's obviously dead, calling 911 is a waste of emergency resources. Whom should you call instead?

I know this term is not actually in any law, and is not in the Constitution. Obviously, a PC Liberal made it up one day and decided it was now a law.

But who actually made it up? I would love to know.

BTW, all the Constitution says is that the state should not establish a religion. But right now, it looks like they ARE establishing a religion: Atheism.

Churches provide morals & humanities … while State provides transportation, law & order, military/police, taxation, and Executive … so why is the State involved into so many humanitarian causes (education, environment, retirement/ unemployment) … doesn’t it seem that government is encroaching on the Churches responsibilities a bit too much???

My boyfriend cheated and I put him out. I told him he owes me money before he can get his things. He decided he still loved me and wanted to work things out. That was a week ago and I haven't heard a word from him. He hasn't asked for his stuff or anything. I need to know what I can do with his stuff? After a certain period of time, can I donate his clothes to Goodwill, can I sell his golf clubs? What can I do?

If everybody can stop hyperventalating for just a minute...

Can anybody name me a job that is going to be impacted by the change to minumum wage? Not a generality mind you, a job.

Do you know anybody who is going to open up a pay envelope in a week and see more cash due to this law?

If not, why are we wasting time discussing it ad-nausium.

Remember: I want an exact job, not a generality for the answer.

Throughout the state of Tamilnadu autorickshaw drivers rarely charge as per the fare meter. If you try to engage an autorickshaw, its driver will ask exhorbitant rate and if you do not agree, he will ensure that no other autorickshaw come near you. The political leaders of Tamilnadu have miserably failed to tame the autorickshaw unions for more than a decade.

Now lets not play stupid, we all know the roots of this law go back to religion. If you are not religious at all and just view sunday as a normal day and want to get wasted, who is the government to say you can't? and yea, I'm talking about CT.

Most of us come from a society governed by men not by laws. Red tape, corruption, bribery, and other self-centered practices prevail in the government. Most people say change should start from within and some say that through education we will be able to effect the needed change. However, we have to notice that people in the government who commits such crime to humanity are well educated as well. some who are determined to change society when they joined the system are also being consumed by the system. I dont really believe to a pure just and equal world since that is ideal but is there hope to at least striving to be as close to it?

I was deeply disturbed by the news story posted in the link above.
I find it hard to believe that our justice system has been so perverted by a liberal mentality that a victim can be prosecuted.
This guy may have only been stealing gas, but what happens to the homeowner that shoots someone breaking into his house?
An assualt charge , that's what.
How does this story make you feel about your rights as a homeowner?

I just came across a question from "returnofkarlos", asking "Will the smoking ban in England make you kick the habit?".

"elaine692981" commented:
"...We now have to breath in smoke when entering and leaving buildings. It stinks!
Why are smokers devoid of consideration for others? It is a strange phenomenon but smokers really don't seem to care about what they are doing to themselves or others."

I would like to tell "elaine692981" that she can easily avoid breathing in the smoke by not going into pubs/bars/clubs.

And I would like to raise a question. If you are a smoker, you MIGHT die because of it. Somebody else MIGHT die because of it. BUT IF YOU EAT MEAT, THE ANIMAL OBVIOUSLY HAD TO DIE. AND IT DIDN'T HAVE A CHOICE (e.g. not to go to the slaughterhouse). And there are people who suffer seing animals being eaten. So what do you think about that?

I yearn to see the day when eating meat is banned from public places! Same for dairy. People kill baby cows to drink their mother's milk!
