does anyone else think that is unfair? It's our money still being spent on everything, how can the federal government tell us our taxes can't be used.

It's 21 all over the USA.. Yes, you can drink at 18 in Mexico. I do think it's not fair that our young men can join the army and die for our country at 18, but can't enjoy a beer or two legally. It's true bullcrap.

I think the drinking age should be 18 in the USA since the draft and voting laws and everything else consider an adult to be 18 years old. What's good for the goose, is good for the gander etc etc.

Legally, 21 to buy alcohol in all states. Some states will allow younger people to drink (especially in a home with parents). Also, some states don't really enforce it much (try Louisiana)- it's true about Mexico being 18- but actually in most places in Mexico, as long as you're old enough to put some pesos on the bar, you're old enough to get a beer.

I believe WI was one of the last states to make the change. The Federal government informed the states that it would not fund transportation infrastructure with Federal funds if the states did not change their drinking ages to 21. After that they all changed.

it's 21 all over. if it wasn't, the federal gov't wouldn't give the states funds for road construction and maintenance, which as I'm sure you're aware is incredibly costly
