Reciprocation in a fair and equitable manner. Justice is as broad a generalization as the different interpretations of individuals. This is influenced by society, religion, culture and tradition. Even judges are susceptible to their influences. Another large role in influence, is politics. Politics influence societies, cultures and traditions.
If you ever take a look at a statue, painting or picture of Justice, I hope you understand that as a symbol, she is blind and just susceptible to the ambient temperature around you. Ambient temperature implies the influences that span the distance between you and the higher ideal she is meant to represent.

Justice = people getting what they deserve or what they've earned (good or bad).

For example:
A criminal gets justice when he's sentenced according to the law that fits his crime.

or

A person gets justice when they get paid the amount of money they've earned. If a contractor works a job and then doesn't get paid for the full time he's worked...he can go to court and demand justice.

I hate it when people use the word "justice" to promote the idea of taking from some people to give other people something they didn't earn (social justice is a misnomer).

I am a bit scepitcal when it comes
to believing in justice as you hear too
many times of the victim being treated
as the criminal esp in rape cases.

For me I think justice should me having the
right to defend yourself in your own without
being prosecuted and sued by the person
doing the criminal activity[I have had this problem
myself hence the scepitism].

Think you for asking this question :)

"Shallow" basically means that you judge people on their appearance rather than their personality and feelings. Example: Bob: "I'm only friends with her because she's hot." John: "You're so shallow."
