Where can I get a NOTARIZED statement of NO PROBATE. Where do I start? I'm clueless. My grandfather died in 1988 and my grandmother died in 1999. They didn't have much, only a house which was left to me. My grandfather had a savings account that is now unclaimed property that I am trying to claim access to. The State of Missouri is asking me to provide a Notarized State of NO Probate.

My husband is a long haul trucker within Canada, and wants to start running to Alaska. He has been told by his new employer that he can have his record "sealed" - NOT the same as a pardon - but this will allow him to cross the border with no hassles. Anyone know of this? How long does it take, and what sort of lawyer handles this type of application? We are in Ontario and are moving to BC in the next few months.

I know of a person who protected his wife from getting raped in his own house and has to do five years on manslaughter :(, cause he didn't have the money for a good lawyer. However the global consensus is people like OJ,Jayson Williams and get away with murder whenever.
Is our country that money hungry, is money the best justice a man can get?

I have tried to research this for days and days, I don't have a lot of free time on my hands and this is going to depend on me passing this class or not. I would highly appreciate if someone would help me with this.

As we all become aware that smoking has been re framed from just about all surrounding now- But have you heard?
They now are going to vote on children's rights which is the right to charge a parent for smoking while in a vehicle.
What is ones view on this?

My ex is a complete jerk and used me throughout the 3 years we knew each other. I had gotten pregnant before and got an abortion because he wanted it so he could be with his ex. well my dad got orders last year to move to Hawaii July 2007 but i found out im pregnant. i want sole custody because i know my ex will be bad for the kid. he has abused me and i have reported it once before but they didnt grant me restraining order after i showed the bruises he gave me. but he has record of domestic violence from his ex whom he cheated on me with many times. he threatens me all the time that if i dont do what he wants he wont pay me back the 2000 dollars he owes me. he can barely pay rent which i had to help him with even after i had no job and no money. now he wants partial cusotdy of the kid and be able to claim him/her on tax return but wants nothing of us. he wants to do it to hurt me. i have texts from him proving he is vioulent and threatens me. what can i do?

I have been seeing a lot of stories about pedophiles on the news and in print and it really bothers me how a lot of these freaks are able to do all this. Like the 29 year old fool that posed as a middle schooler and was able to get into a school system and even took some kids home with him. There are other stories of the organization NAMBLA, how they come up with schemes to get to kids like being school teachers for example, there ought to be a way of getting these people before they get to our kids.

I can see the downside of this, where only the rich would get the organs, but what if it went into a blood bank type thing. Then it would be distributed by the hospital to the next person on the list?

And like the blood, it would be screened and tested for diseases.

i was on a road going 35 which was the speed limit, i initiated a left lane merge, i signaled and checked my blind spot. when i got halfway into the left lane i contacted my back left fender with his front right fender at the wheel base. the damage on my car is non-existant and on his there is a ding 1 inch by 2 inches and a half inch deep. he is now suing me for $1350.00 and claiming that i am at fault. there was no police report and no insurance on my side but he didnt call his insurance at all. we had an agreement that i would fix his car but he flaked and we had a settlement price but he flaked... i dont know my next move, ive been surved

I go to school in Nevada (Las Vegas) and I have something like 7 unexcused abscences. I have had two truancy warnings this year and I know my third one is coming. Can I still be declared a habitual truant even though I'm 18? Or is this just a matter for juvenile court? I was thinking since I'm legally an adult now I should be able to not go to school, but I'm worried I might get my Drivers Liscence suspended. Does anyone know the truancy laws pretaining to age in Las Vegas? Or anywhere?
