Are pedophiles the new terrorists?

I have been seeing a lot of stories about pedophiles on the news and in print and it really bothers me how a lot of these freaks are able to do all this. Like the 29 year old fool that posed as a middle schooler and was able to get into a school system and even took some kids home with him. There are other stories of the organization NAMBLA, how they come up with schemes to get to kids like being school teachers for example, there ought to be a way of getting these people before they get to our kids.

Pedophilia is not a new problem, altho (thankfully) it is getting a lot more media coverage recently.

Unfortunately one of the negative consequences of the internet is the easy access & communication channel these individuals are able to utilize to prey upon our children. So many "kids" having cell phones also gives them more opportunity to make contact w young people & the parents be totally unaware.

There are several websites where convicted pedophiles are listed for the protection & well being of communities everywhere.
