If you are no longer going to school and have your GED, a job, a place to live, and a car, then would you be able to just move out or would you be considered a run-away at 16?

I pay for the insurence on my car, and have a bank account that I save money in, and feel that I will be able to provide for myself, on my own... All I want to know is, with all of the things that I have to care for myself, would I be allowed to move out or would I be considered a runaway?

Do you have a good enough job to support yourself? Can you pay
for upkeep and insurance on your car? It is expensive to make it these days. If you want to do this, why don't you discuss it with
your family and get their support. Then if you have problems you can turn to them for help. Everyone needs a little help once in awhile.

You would be consided a run-away, you could get thrown into juvi for doing it.

If you want to move out you have to get an emancipation. You would go before a judge and explain why you want to move out and how you can support yourself. It's a very long process thought and you may not be granted emancipation from your parents. You have to have a good reason as to why you want to move out as well. A judge is not going to let you leave your parents unless you have a good reason.
