Where can I get a NOTARIZED statement of NO PROBATE. Where do I start? I'm clueless. My grandfather died in 1988 and my grandmother died in 1999. They didn't have much, only a house which was left to me. My grandfather had a savings account that is now unclaimed property that I am trying to claim access to. The State of Missouri is asking me to provide a Notarized State of NO Probate.

I would guess you start with the city and county of their residence and death. Contact the county clerk and ask.

How did they leave you the house? Was your name added to the house before the last surviving grandparent died? If it wasn't, you'll have to go through probate in order to have the house put in your name.

If the house was put in your name before the death, you can ask the probate court in the jurisdiction of the grandparent's estate to give you a letter of testmentary, and they you can use this to give the unclaimed property.
