I think not because the person probbably killed the other person in a very horrific. These methods have been made humane. If nit for the death penalty where would we put all of the murderes and serial killers? would they be let out on good behavior so they can kill again?

i think, that if they were condemed to die, then they should take them into the room and inject them will that stuff that kills you. why wait 30 years. Charles Manson should be long gone by now. they even let him out to do a movie (the heart is deceitful, above all things). we prolly wouldn't have very many murderers, if they were condemed to die, and actually died because of their crimes, instead of old age.

Here is the condensed story:

Hopefully someone in this group can help me with this situation I am having. Here is the story:

In my hometown-neighborhood, there are about 40 homes. We all basically circle this large 2 square mile field that holds several families of deer, rabbits, squirrels, and various other animals. Now the person who owned he land recently died, and we were planning on buying the land from him to keep it preserved as he did. But someone, and we don't know how, got ahold of the land without our knowing and is now planning on torching the land and then putting up low-income housing to replace it. If you know of any organizations, activist groups, etc. that could help out it would be much appreciated.

I need to know also of any state laws they may be breaking. This is going on in Marianna, Florida. Please, any advice will help, and I will highly rate the best answer on this. Thanks.

In 2004,my son was taken from me and placed in a foster home.I've been paying child support since, and the mother has never payed a dime.In Nov. 2005,the mother was placed in a state hospital group home by a judge for her mental problems. In Feb. 2006,the court refused me custody, and terminated my parental rights. My son is developmentally delayed, doesn't speak, and has autism.Their decision to terminate my rights were based on the belief that I,being a single parent to him, would not be physically and emotionally capable of meeting his special needs...doctors visits, therapy/learning classes, etc. They felt that with my job and hours, that I would be too stressed out to be there for him.
So,if my parental rights were terminated in Feb. 2006,and have not been allowed to see him since because they also terminated the right to have visits, why am I still obligated to pay support?Isn't it the courts problem to pay the foster parents now and am I entitled to receive monies paid since Feb. 2006?

This is purely hypothetical. (Please do not give political or personal rant!) If the President of the US gets mentally unstable, in the extreme - irrational - to the extent that the President's actions pose an imminent threat to the nation, say, within moments or hours, and if the President refuses to admit that irrationality, then who, if anyone, has the *legal* power to determine that disability (in time to avoid the threat) and who, if anyone, has the *legal* power to take *legal* action, if any (in time to avoid the threat), and what *legal* action may they take (in time to avoid the threat)? (My question is inspired by the TV series 24/7, in case you've seen it...)

I mean who would sue you google or yahoo?

also these companies seem very vigilant about their trademarks,
but both these words ('google' and 'yahoo') were actually in usage before they came along!
Are yahoo going to claim they own every domain with the word yahoo in it?!

I live in the city of New York were parking is almost non existant, I parked in what I thought was a legal parking space, which turned out to be a Bus Stop, but the sign was not present. I thought that taking pictures of the area would be enough, but I was found guilty, but later reversed on appeal. The officer who issued the summons continued to issue summones to vehicles parked in that space as I later found out through FOIL (Freedom of information) I spent a considerable amount of time and effort defending the violation, because of the officer and the first judge who acted with malice when he found me guilty of the violation. Can I sue to recover the cost of defending the parking violation?

Does anyone know if it's legal for a private landlord to request 6 months worth of rent in advance in Scotland??

It was stated on the original tenancy agreement, but its pretty imoral, if you ask me and hugely annoying!

The navy discharged me with a bleeding disorder in July, they told me that the VA would help me with this disorder. I filied my paper work with the VA in July, it is now Jan,07 and I just got a letter telling me that I am not going to get any help from them nor from the Navy because my disorder has to be cronic....I have not had a job since July, I have not seen a hemotalogist since July either, simply because I can't afford it. I bleed so much that I can't leave my house to even go to the store....I never got a second opinion to verify that I even have this bleeding disorder because it is not common for my race. I was discharged with no money and no help from the VA medical system. I need justice and I need it now!! If anyone out there knows how to sue these people or have info on how to seek justice please help me!!!!!! Thank you!

I will say foes.
Here is why, they run public education in the US refuse to change any aspect of it
40% African-American male dropout rate that means menial jobs or illegal activities resulting in more incarceration.
A policy promoting abortions resulting in 50% black infantcide rate we are now the 3rd minority.
A policy promoting dependency such as welfare which resulted in generations of African-Americans being totally dependent on the state and unable to climb out of poverty.
Refusal to change the SS system even though blacks are overwhelming penalize by the system
since the average death rate age for the African –American male is 63 and full benefits start at 65 they are basically paying into a system that they are not getting any benefit from. With friends like these do we really need any enemies? Do Africans-Americans need a reality check to see who are really creating policies that benefit them?
