my child has just been refused from the local shop, she has bought them before. If this is the case should the shop not be keeping them behind the counter along with the ciggarettes, lighters , matches and glue or have a notice stating you have to be over 16 to buy this product and is it also true that they cannot buy things like bleach?

Ok when I was 15 years old I got a DWI yes I know I was stupid but I went to court and the judge sentenced me to 1 year probation, comm.service and angermanagment classes and heres the big one he said i could not get my license until I was 21, well I done everything I was told to do. Well I am now 20 and 5 months away from my 21st birthday and I have a 3 year old child and I am also married and it is sooo hard for me not to have my license and I just know there is a way to get them since I have a child and my husband works and theres no way for me to take my child to the doc. or anything like that and i know its 5 months away but i cant wait. So if anyone knows what I can do I really do appreciate it and please no smart comments I will report you. Thanks

Just asking after the indefensible treatment by police, who themselves thought it ridiculous, of nurse Peter Murray in Whitehall on the day of The Queen's Speech to Parliament. Perhaps I could be stopped and searched for just thinking that he is a useless twerp!

I have a tenant in my flat who is committing antisocial behaviour, playing loud music and has threatened to kill my other half because we asked him to turn the music down. The police are involved and we are trying to get environmental health involved but how much power does the leaseholder have to evict him?

My husband was born Nov.9,1962 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Tx.. He was given up for adoption. How does he go about getting a ACTUAL copy of his birth certificate listing his birth mother? The attorney that handled the adoption passed away years ago and his adoptive parents have both passed away. He was the only child. I did find out the adoption took place in Dallas county.

Yet they do it constantly & expect poverty stricken ppl to pay huge recconnect fees & late bills!
How can we get them to honor the law & their own payment plans they supposedly have for unfortunate ppl?
Better yet,how can we get them to stop charging such rediculous prices?
This is what de-regulation has done to us in America, kids!I believe in free interprise, but licience to rob & steal? Give me a break!

At a local school , a kid thought it would been funny by putting in a harmful prank into the school paper. Saying that he's going to take a gun into school and shoot some people.. The district took a decision on expelling him for the rest of the school year. BUT that {some reason } made a stink , his parents wanted the superintendant and pricipal fired and started a support rally around wanting him back into school , because the punishment was too harsh.
So what do you think

a database for identification purposes to assist in resolving crimes in a timely manner? Fingerprints have been used for identifications purposes for almost a century. With our currect technology, don't you think a DNA database would be more appropriate? I just watched a progam wherein an Offender with a long Misdemeanor history had raped and killed an 80 year old woman. The only forensic evidence was his semen. It took over 6 years to arrest the Offender. What's your opinion?

Angelina Jolie's bodyguard called one of the parents "bloody Indian" while they were shooting for this new movie in some school in India. The kids got sacred because while shooting the scene had people wearing guns and stuff and thats why they kind of freaked out but was it nice of her bodyguard to push women and little kids away rudely?
