Given that most of the above professions are paid to LIE on behalf of their clients, do you think it is a good system to have lawyers/barristers etc. serving in our parliament. (Think the legally qualified and once practising barrister Tony Blair.) His history of honesty, (or the lack of it) especially over Iraq and sold peerages highlights this question of their suitability.

My friend got a letter in the mail from the FBI stating that she may be a victim. This letter mentions her ex-husband that she hasn't seen in years, hasn't talked to him in years, doesn't even know where he lives, etc. She called the FBI directly and the lady that she's supposed to talk to isn't in till Monday. In the meantime, my friend is distraught and concerned as she is worried for her and her children's sake. Can anyone help me as to what this letter is intended to do?

I need to retrieve a large no.(roughly 4 years of daily, several times on a daily basis in fact) of SMS and download them to my PC in order to proceed with a lawsuit against the offender (as sadly to say the least the police have treated the terorism that I'm subjected to as a laughing /joke matter) moreover I am stalked by the offender and and my health has deteriorated (am almost constantly depressed as I cannot see a way out or an end to this issue) Please would anyone point me to a site (software that would enable me to download the material that I need in court) thanx to everybody who'll care to help me.PC: i've tried google, zdnet, downloads site but couldn't find anything applicable to me situation, therefore to no avail. So I need a whizzkid who would "know" how to go about this, because this criminal has succeded to drive me insane. My work life is affected, my behaviour and I'm not me anymore, when I walk out I'm constantly on guard, looking over my shoulder. Thanks again.

She has not followed legal prceedures, entered our flat without permission, and has now said that as we don't keep windows OPEN, as per the lease, (it's winter for Gods sake) she wishes to end the tenancy. This she is doing, without giving us our legal 2 months notice as she is using a section 12 against us.

A woman can choose to not have a baby no matter what anyone else thinks , including the father. So a woman does not have to deal with the consequences of her actions if she chooses not to.

But a man has no choice, he is forced to go along with whatever decision the woman makes, where is the equality there. Since we allow woman to skirt their responsibility, shoudln't men be afforded the same rights?

Also, what is up with the "keep it in his pats" comments. If we women had our pants on then men wouldnt be inclined to remove it from their pants in the first place.

My ex-girlfriend told me she was pregnant when I was released from jail only for three weeks and she was already a month. There were some questions about me being the father but eventually left it alone. She had the baby and gave the child my last name. None of this was a big deal because I thought my name wasn't on the certificate. Recently she said she wanted to sue me for support or for me to give up my rights. I didn't think nothing of it because I wasn't on the certificate. I decided to go get a copy and found out she did put me on but I didn't see how she could've done this if I never signed the acknowledgement of paternity in the hospital. I contacted the hospital and they told me she claimed we were married! They gave me a copy of the form and I found out she forged my signature! She did such a good job of it that they told me they don't see how any court is going to believe me. The staff that signed the certificate even told me she didn't remember me. Help how can I fix this?

I am receiving at least 1 e-mail a day indicating that some foreign national has passed away and left a fortune and his heirs want me to help them claim the money, how, I'm not sure. I'm sure this is a scam but I just wondered if anyone else has received these e-mails and did you inquire as to the legality or request additional information. Most of these e-mails are from Africa or Europe.

My uncle has had heart problems for years, therefore he's been going to the doctor regularly for years in California. He came down to move in with us here in Texas in time for the holidays and he began getting chest pains. We took him to the hospital and after he spent the night there, they found out that he was misdiagnoised all these years. He not only has a very bad heart, but he also has stage four intestinal cancer and has less than two months to live.

My entire family and I are furious. He went to the doctor regularly in California for years. How did they not see this?! Isn't this a form of neglect?!
