I need the Ill. Sup. Ct. rule to file an appellant brief from the trial court directly to the Illinois Supreme Court. I need to know the exact order the Ill. Sup. Ct. requires the appellant's brief to be in and all the elements that are included.

Generally, if there is an intermediate appellate court (which Illinois has) you need to file your appeal to that court after the trial. You can't just jump directly to the state supreme court.
