I won a small claims court case in court recently. The defendant moved out of state. They did notify the court and gave them their new address. I am not saying they are not going to pay but my question is: If i decide to garnish their bank account or pay check would I have to file in the state they are living in now? Would I have to follow Florida small claims procedures which is where the judgement was entered or would I have to follow North Carolina's procedures as that is where the defendant lives now? Thanks for any comments.

I met her in the parking lot of the mobile home park and she was about to leave and she told me to just come back. I had to use some of the lot rent money to pay for a tire for my wifes van because it was flat, so I went back to pay my park manager on the 15 of sept. when I got payed again to cover all of my late fees and what not. And that is when she refused my payment and told my she was going to bring me to court

I don't want to think it's possible but I can't help but think it has to do with the upcoming election. This seems so far-fetched to me yet I can't think of anything else. Someone please help me understand why a gallon of gasoline is now about a buck cheaper than it was after Katrina and about 60 cents cheaper than a month ago.

I don't think it could be just supply demand and usual price drop after labor day arguments just because of how huge the drop is but if you can make a strong case for these ideas be my guest.

No, actually in tonlac's answer he contradicts him/herself. The Constitution says that a presidential canidate must be a natural born citizen. A natural born citizen could be a child that is born in, say South Korea and the father is American and the mother is Korean. The child is automatically a natural born, american citizen because of his/her's father. the child is also a korean citizen.


Is this true?

soudns like the type of question that it could be obvious that you have to born in that states to become president, but out of curiousity i just want to be sure.

back in highschool when studying the constitution, i recall there was a section where it mentioned the regulations that had to be followed for a person to become president.

is there a website where you can read the constitution in its full details?

a friend worked at a casino for 3 mos, was fired then worked for their race track & filled out another w-4. when it was time to file he only got one w-2 back from the casino & not the race track & he was pennalized for not reporting income. shouldn't the company get pennalized for not sending out the w-2's?

My lawyer had a motion to supress hearing for my case. He had my case and another client's case mixed up. The arresting officer was subpeoned to testify, but he was no longer needed for that morning because my attorney was late. The judge was mad, and he said to have the motion to supress hearing be sent to him in a form of an affidavit. We have 30 days before the jury trial to have to paperwork be sent to get my case dismissed. What do you think?
