How presumptuous we are! As a matter of fact, I do whine about that too! I am mostly against abortion.
I think it's disgusting. But I don't have to explain myself to you.
I obviously touched a chord, the guilt about not having a compassionate or thoughtful bone in your body must get to you sometimes. Do you post any questions? why not? do you not have any or are you just afraid of being challenged? based on your answers it's not hard to do....
come now, let's be serious about who is the air head here............

Most people aren't aware of just how cruel it is. There aren't many documentaries about it on TV, so people just don't know the truth.
You can't make people have compassion other than making them aware. That's why questions like this help people to become aware.
Also many people have not evolved very much spiritually, and think nothing of killing animals or even humans.

We learn compassion at home, and we start by learning compassion by being compassionate about each other.

People who do not care about other people and other people's pain are not really able to be compassionate about the pain of animals, etc. People who are burningly compassionate about animals are already well-fed, well-housed, and decently educated. THEIR needs are met, so they can look for others to care for.

What always bothers me is how few people who are so compassionate for animals are equally concerned about the plight of the hungry, undereducated, homeless, etc. in their own communities. I would think that we could teach compassion by showing compassion for our fellow humans.

I do. I think more and more, wearing fur is being frowned upon. I have even called my friends out for wearing it.

They may not like it, but I will speak about it. Wearing fur is disgusting!!!

People do care. Animal farms and fur factories are good for everyone, even little spoiled air-heads.
If you REALLY have compassion, whine about the Abortion Mills that are killing hundreds of thousands of babies. FOR MONEY!
(Bet you don't whine about that, do you?)

I just killed my dog the other day, and my wife was finally able to make me feel bad about it. Just let them know about the money they wasted...
