I just noticed in a store that one has to have a valid driver's license as proof of age to buy cigarettes or alcohol. Why wouldn't a license that is expired be acceppted as proof of age.

I know a co-worker of mine gave his two-week notice because my boss lower his salary. My co-worker wanted to cut his days of work. I guess my boss didn't like that. I know that was seriously wrong but is that legal?

My step sons mother is what you would call a deadbeat. She is currently 23,000 behind on support and when my husband and I went for enforcement she claimed disability and was excused from paying any further support. (SHE IS NOT DISABLED!) I understand the child is eligable for payment under her. Can we contact the SS office and have that payment sent here because he lives with us? His medical bills and school clothes and things have always been taken care of but it sure would be nice to have some help from her since she is half responsible for him.

I think America is racist against rap music because the republicans don't want to see Black kids rolling around in Lexus's and Phantoms, and sitting on 28 inch wheels - and having mansions and scores of women of all colors hanging off of them.

Rap music raps about violence, poverty, riches and partying while Rock music talks about SATAN, EVIL, VIOLENCE, DEATH and DESTRUCTION

i.e. - Gwar, guns&roses, death rock, grunge, etc

Why is it that Rap music is picked on when Rock music does the exact same thing with the addition of satanism and goth promotion???

I'm certain it's because neocons and the republican party don't want to see Blacks with financial riches, social or political power and for the most part have anti-***** penis envy.


You actually have these stupid neo cons talking about passing laws against rap music when rock music causes people to set fire to things, smash things and ride skateboards tearing up the metal on guard rails and scratching up sidewalks

George Bush always puts guilt by association on Syria and Iran for their support of Hezbollah. But what about the support, which exceeds Syria and Iran combined, America gives to Israel? America too is guily by associtation for the violence in the Middle East.
The problem with American policy is that has been able to legitimize murder and have done so to defend the killing of innocent people by Israel. When will the American people wake up and say musrder is murder, no matter how you try to word it or legitimize it?
Politicians are the best when it comes to "double talk" and "running around the bush" and this is what they do now to justify the killings of hundreds in Lebanon. Collaterial damage is a term created and used by the American media and politicians to justify murder.
What is worse is that America is trying to broker a cease fire when they have an obvious bias towards Israel. How can you ask hezbollah to disarm when Israeli missles are dropping all around them. How stupid

his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of this or your opinions are welcome

My brother is the father who is a druggie living on the streets. He has been no part of anyones lives' for a year now. His ex girlfriend is the mother to my niece and nephew and has custody. Main points:
-Verbally, mentally, abuses them
-neglects all their health diagnosis, for she does not believe them
--calls her daughter; slut, wh%4e, etc
-Moves and constantly changes #'s in attempt to hide children from my family
-lies to them
-keeps them in home majority of time and now enrolled them to be homeschooled
-pins all her responsibilities on oldest daughter; caring for baby sister
-daughter threatened suicide and the mother went and got her a knife in which she sliced at her wrist in front of her and was then only sent her to her room
-nephew was diagnosed with ADHD and since mother does not believe it; refuses to get him help but punishes him for all related actions
-Has her daughter on a strict diet with her
-fixing up shed a little outside to have for son's room

I am 23 years old and I never lived with my father. He would send my mom some money under the books each month and we never filed for child support. Would we be able to take him to court for all the years of unpayed child support or is it too late? Not to mention, he has been a doctor my whole life and owes us way more than he used to send us each month. Please advise?

I got a palm tree thats in my yard, but close to the property line. Well, when the leaves (fronds ) fall - some will fall into my neighbors yard. So, my neighbor instead of picking them up and putting them on the grass curb area which is like 5 feet away for garbage pick-up... He throws them back into my yard... F'ing amazing! People cease to amaze me! His plam tree does the same thing in the backyard, but I pick them up and throw them out front for garbage... I refuse to go tp that depth of ignorance...

An apartment manager asked me to pay $15 application fee and $20 for credit score check fee for wanting to lease the apartment. I paid. I was later told that all of the apartment units are full. Can I legally demand a refund of the fees. Sound like fraud to me.

Another example. I want to sell a very nice house for cheap, $50,000. But I charge people $10 for an "application fee." I quote on the application "while supply last." I don't have a house in the first place. Can I keep the $10 because I "processed" their applications.

Also, assume that I have a house and i really didn't want to sell the house. I just want the 10 dollars.

This also happened to me when try to get a dorm room at a university (no credit check though just $20 application). over 100 students was told that the dorm was full. There was a waiting list. by the time I was offer a room, half of the school year was over and I already had an apartment. This happen year after year.
