She is obsessed with this guy that sells drugs and she thinks that it will make him like her, enough to date. She is a really close friend and I have already told her that she is crazy, actually we have had several discussions about this but i don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Don't you just hate racists? Especially when they're on here, spreading sh-it and pissing people off. I find it comical when said racists tell Hispanics, African Americans, Jews, etc to go back to their own country and stay out of America when in fact EVERYONE (except for Native Americans, of course) came from another country at one point of another.

This is continuation from earlier question. Already been to MP. Did name bully this person was already on 12 month disciplinary for b & H when put in formal complaint. I did not know this until after the expiry. Seen employment solicitor cause union were unsupportive. After 2 years bully given option to resign as there was too much evidence against them. Now county saying bullying not proved as person resigned. Massive Cover up for reasons which I cannot state - to p rotect this person. Already been threatened that if we go to papers we will suffer consequences. Told by investigatory that if successful we would open flood gates for such lot people - this is why resigned. Cannot affor another solicitor as already cost thousands. Don't want any money we just don't want this to happen to anyone else and it will if nothing is done. We do not know what to do. Went back to work eventually and disciples of bully told me they would use and abuse me (can cope). any advice please

I have rasied my great grandson ever since he was born. His mother who i also rasied has taken him back and won't let me see him. I don't know what to do. The court says I can't do anything about it because I'm a great grandma. I don't think they should see me as a great grandma because i rasied my grandduaghter who is his mother. I just need help with my problem.

My husband has had full custody of his daughter for over a year, his ex signed over custody of her own will and said such to the judge. ie: she was not bribed, intimidated or coerced. His ex now says she WAS intimidated and coerced and changed her mind, says she made a mistake and wants full custody now. We have offered her additional visitation time and tried to work out a compromise but she says she ONLY will take full custody. She says that since we are having a baby of our own she wants her daughter back because she is lonely and miserable. My husband is a great man, and has been a fantastic father, she has nothing but unprovable lies to say about him. SInce there is nothing wrong about the current custody arrangements other than his ex keeps changing his mind, I don't think the judge will or should change anything. We have a great lawyer, but she has a lawyer that seems to not be bothered that she is constantly lying. Anyone have any input?

Without them poking their noses in your bussiness. I don't believe you should hit the child, unless in extreme cases they need a good spanking. But child services goes beyond that and if they hear you saying somehting like stop acting like a brat, they're at your house investigating you. It's great that children have protection like this but I think in many situations child services goes way too far and investigates for the wrong reasons.

ethically...one of my clients refuses to pay a December invoice because it wasn't "actually submitted properly" and now it's "too late" to do anything about it. I've continued to work with him, begrudging the issue, but moving on. I always have been the technical support person and hence am always in posession of his equipment. Things got "hot" on the set - egos got the best of both of us and name calling drama ensued. Obviously, I "will never work in this town again". I don't expect another communication, except probably a lawyer. Do I have any "right" to use his equipment as "hostage" ?

ok, started a new job working thru a contract service, pay is supposed to be once a week, first check due on july 14th. by july 17th check had not arrived, called service, they looked into it, check was sent to my old address, but mail was forwarded should be there in the next day. so sent bills off, 19th rolled around no check, spoke with yet another person, someone called the morning of 20th, faxed me paper work to stop payment and issue new one (was told this would be overnighted to me) so on friday the 21st no check, no big deal, will be here on Saturday, told me it was over nighted, 22nd rolls around no check, I had already sent bills again on friday in anticapation of deliver (based upon what they said to me) on mondya the 24th I called, stop payment had not been done yet, finally they did it and check arrrives on the 25th. Problem is that between the 20th and the 26th, I incured 10 fees at my bank for a total of 290$ would the promissory estoppel apply here, they are unwillin

how can i get a concealed weapons license? i know that all you gun haters out there will flmae me for the question, but id rather be able to protect myself and those around me than get shot down and used as bait for some lunatic. i was recently used as a hostage in a gas station and had to snap my assaulter's neck in order to save myself and the store clerk from being killed. i realize from this that instead of paralyzing somone it would be safer and easier to disable them without the risk of killing them, or if needed to eliminate their threat as quickly as possible.

myself and other colleagues were bullied at work. Complaints put in but people decided to turn a blind eye. This authority has failed on their duty of care to myself and other colleagues because they new this was going on. Union really did not want to know they said this sort of thing happens. This person has destroyed the confidence, health and self-worth of several people.
After so many complaints and a third investigation this person was then told either to resign or be sacked (of course which one would you choose).
They are now saying that people who have been off for over 12 months due to this person have no claim as this person resigned. What a cover up this has been from the start to the finish. This is not the end as we cannot let this happen to anyone else.
The perpetrator has now got a job in another county, same position and is doing same to other people. Already paid out thousands in solicitors fees due to lack of representation by union. need help what to do

I have called the police, the multi-unit housing inspector who is also the health inspector, and my attorney's assistant. Where else can I go to get help. My lungs are hurting (I have asthma, but a person should not have to feel their lungs!), I have a sinus headache and phlegm-filled throat (and sore throat) and I'm always tasting and smelling the smoke that keeps getting shoved into my respiratory system. HELP!

As far as smokers rights go, I know they are dwindling, but my right to breathe clean air takes precedence. Sorry, I doubt that many judges would agree that smoking takes top priority.

How do you feel about biotech companies holding patents to our genetics blueprints and guarding them with teams of lawyers? These patents include ownership of genes related to breast cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease and epilepsy. That means that they can stop other people from doing any research whatsoever involving these genes. That’s like holding patents on sunlight and charging people money to use it. Even though I think that most biotech companies are ethical and put utmost value on human lives. This patent business stifles science and may prevent timely drug discovery. It is one thing to hold patens on drugs they develop but to hold patents on human genes which we all carry?

Do you feel that there is an unhealthy increase in the number of people practicing patent law? I am a senior mechanical engineer highly considering law school for the purpose of becoming a patent attorney. However, I do not want to spend three years and 100K+ if there is not a need for patent attorneys.

got picked up by the police cuz they said she and a boyfriend are on tape trying to steal a car--she denies it said they were talking to a friend in between some cars and he happend to push a button on the car and something popped--and they walked back to the house to change to shorts and walked back to the park to play basketball-the owner of the car went up to all the kids asked for the kid with the pants--and the girl--he said to my daughter he was going to kick her *** and her boyfriend--well the boyfriend started protecting my daugter and got into and arguement woth the owner-then the police came--took the boyfriend and then my daughter--at the station they kept her in a room--talked to her--asked her all kinds of questions and took her picture--there was not even a female officer with her--she said she overheard the police tell the guy that he had to file charges on the kids--we never got to talk to my daughter and never got to see this video--never got any papers or anything-
