When my son was an infant we had a dna test done, his dad wouldnt sign papers claiming paternity. We had to go to the child support office where they figured out what i would get being the custody was 50/50...anyway, a woman there said that we had to do custody 50/50 and to make our own schedule or they would make one for us...that was it, all that was said....? Is this how it usually goes?No judge,or court date.?Nothing in writing, and we didnt sign anything agreeing to anything. I read some where that when you make up a placement schedule that it has to be approved and signed by a judge. This did not happen, I dont even know if the woman wrote down the schedule we made up..? How is this legal? We live in the state of Wisconsin....please tell your story and give any info you have, every state has there own laws with child custody.I want to take my son to tx in feb. his dad agreed at first, now changed his mind..

Why is weed illegal and alcohol not?It has been my personal experience that weed is a whole lot better for you.I have never heard of anyone getting high and killing someone in a car accident.Or getting in a fight, going home from the bar and beating the wife and kids.I just don't understand.

What are all the steps involved in collecting an inheritance? Also, if the person inheriting the estate was actually adopted by another family, would she have to have a DNA test before she could collect this inheritance from her biological family?

. However, it is a lie, he went around the neighborhood saying that the church kicked him out. He lives in the church and had a 1 month notice to move out. He is illegal in the country, and lied about it. He had about 3 years to get his paper work done. For the church's safety and reputation, they took him off as pastor, and give him a month to move out. Now he is suing the church, for telling him to move and for purjury. He is illegal in the country, but because of the laws in NYC, we think that his lawyer is backing him up. We are not sure of what he his saying around, however, he is a LIAR, and we do not know what to do!
What can we do?

If not, then why are business owners legally obligated to higher certain people? Why can't a man who ownes a business decide whom he wants working for him? Doesn't he have the right to reject minorities, (including women) if he wanted to? Doesn't he have the right to promote whom he wants?

I have custody of my 14 year old sons. If something happens to me I want my sons to be raised by their Aunt and Uncle. Their father has nothing to do with them now. He has his own agenda and life style. He has a drug problem. He is presently homeless, and always out of a job. I don't want my sons to grow up in that environment if something happens to me. Do I have to prove him unfit now? I know their father would just take them for the life insurance and Social Security benefits. He has no desire to raise them.

I was just reading other questions about public smoking bans and you still have these morons that don't realize they are killing themselves. Worse yet, you have people actually trying to DEFEND their "right" to affect the health of other people by smoking in public.

This would be like me FORCIBLY making a fat dude exercise. Or making a healty person drink 5 gallons of frying oil.

As far as I'm concerned you have the RIGHT to fill your car/house etc. with smoke. Go ahead and smoke yourself to death. But public? This is incredibly selfish to even imply.

What if I shoot target practice in my backyard?? I have the right to do that correct? Would it then be ok if I did it in the nearest restaurant with people sitting all around me? NO you idiots that would not be my "right".

As far as that goes, if these jackasses want to blow themselves up by strapping on a bomb, then let them do that in the privacy of their own home as well. Instead of a church or a restaurant.

I live in Florida. I am waiting for the money to come into my bank so I can pay what I owe for the car . The money will be here tomorrow but the bank said that they don't care that I can pay them tomorrow because they want to reposses tonight and if I hide it they will arrest me. Can they do that legally, even if I will give them their money tomorrow?
