I think that in cases like rape, it should definitely be allowed. Why should a woman that was raped have to go through the additional pain and trauma of carrying a part of the rapist in her stomach for nine months, then (if she puts it up for adoption) have to spend the rest of her life wondering if one day the person will hunt her down because they are "curious" but do not care at all what the intrusion will do to the woman's life? It should also be allowed if the woman's life or health are at risk. If she dies, who takes care of the baby? If her health is ruined, how is she supposed to care for it?

Abortion should be legal. If the baby is attached to a woman, it is part of the woman, just like an arm. Is it legal to remove your arm?

I believe in a woman's right to choose. I am not pro-abortion but each person has a right to make their own deicisions regarding their body.

I personally don't approve of it, except as absolutely necessary.

But my personal views don't really matter. It's more important to me that each person is allowed to follow their beliefs and opinions on the subject, and that it's wrong for the govt to try and enforce any particular set of beliefs as a matter of law.
