It was proven that Leggett & Platt altered a machine and the end result was the loss of a finger and very limited use of a hand due to the malfunction of the machine. A lawsuit against the manufacturer of the machine proved that Leggett & Platt altered the machine. The machine manufacturer has offered a settlement, but Leggett & Platt are making it a stipulation in the the settlement that my husband repay the original work comp settlement. An offer was made that there would be no further legal action taken against Leggett & Platt if they signed off on the repayment of the wc settlement, but they are refusing, saying they want their money. Can they really get away with this type of legal mumbo jumbo? Between what the attorneys will walk away with and what Leggett & Platt are asking for, when they are at fault, it seems like a waste of time to settle, but going to court runs the risk of receiving nothing, which is almost what my husband will walk away with.

Have we forgotten all of the prejudice and obstacles they had to endure in the past? Have we forgotten about the times when it was considered illegal to teach blacks how to read and write? Now we want to cry foul because they have special scholarship funds to enable them to further their education. Are you for real?

My husband went to the hospital for some tests....a electrocardiagram on his heart because his heart was beating too fast and an ultra sound on his abdomin for stomach discomfort. The heart doctor asked my husband if he had any heart problems in the past and my husband told him that he had pericarditis several years ago, the doctor stated that had nothing to do with what was going on, so the next day they 'shocked' his heart and he about died, he actuall arrested twice before getting life flighted to another hospital where they saved his life. So, because he lived and didn't end up with any brain damage can the original doctor that shocked his heart and said the pericarditis was no big deal be sued for malpractice? My husband did end up having heart surgery to scrap off the calcification of the pericardium, at the second hospital.

..,for an attorney to not acknowledge a court document in which he filed pertaining to his client's work history, wherein a motion was filed,on 4/15/03 (IN LIMINE) to exclude evidence of his client's past act's (suspended for a physical altercation in 1988).. declared to the court in 2006 that his client; " in his 20 years as a bus driver has not had an altercation with anyone but me. However, I found and cited the document to the court for Judicial Notice, which the court did take notice of...Now, is he in a bind, or what ?
Shouldn't this help my case, in that the defense is not being truthful ?...

Isn't this perjury on his part, which would be a criminal matter ?
Incidentally, in our previous legal clash I was declared the prevailing party and awarded a sum of money and battery judgement against his client. His company footed the bill of whom this lawyer is a 25yr. corporate attorney...
He has connections to supplant or corrupt..
Get back if you hear me.
Tell me what it is.

surely the world knows that governments do not speak for the people. by now, isnt that obvious? it seems as apparent to me as the fact that elections are simply occasions to play make-believe.

i hope lebanon knows, i hope the world knows that the american people do not make decisions. but have their decisions made for them. we are mice. being led by the ultimate pied piper. i hope they can forgive us for being fools. and that they punish accordingly.

but will they?

The Judge was very intrested in how much money she had, but showed no intrest in the facts of the case. All of his question where about money. He offered her a deal in exchange for a guilty plea. If she did not plead guilty she would have to wait around a week for her 603$ SSI check, her only source of income, to get her out of jail and get her moms truck out of inpound. She plead guilty and confessed to the crime of frequenting, not even knowing what freqenting ment. Is this legal? What happens when the judge finds out the information about 3 joints in her confesion, is false? Her pasanger infact had 1 joint and 2 roll your own cigarets.

I know a friend who is facing 2 felony charges. One of the charges could be dropped down to a misdemeanor. He has no PRIORS. Both of the charges are still pending and he is still going back and forth to court because of the request of a "continuoes". Here's the problem. He currently has a poor public defender who is not working as he expected for her to work. She wants him to plea it out and take the jail time, but he wants to avoid jail time as much as possible. He believes the public defender and hire a private attorny. My friend has no credit (which is better than bad credit) and is average income person. He doesn't have the money to pay the attorny fees up front which is well over $5,000. So he decided to apply for credits cards online. My logic for him was I'd rather have a bad credit report than a criminal record. My question to the readers are, should he charge the credits cards knowing he won't be able to pay it back or stick with the public defender?..Please positive feedback.
