surely the world knows that governments do not speak for the people. by now, isnt that obvious? it seems as apparent to me as the fact that elections are simply occasions to play make-believe.

i hope lebanon knows, i hope the world knows that the american people do not make decisions. but have their decisions made for them. we are mice. being led by the ultimate pied piper. i hope they can forgive us for being fools. and that they punish accordingly.

but will they?

The electoral college system is flawed. It does not reflect what the popular vote says. This has brought down not only potential Democratic presidents, but also potential Republican presidents as well. The fact is that there are a lot of ignorant people out there. I wish they could see what good, intelligent Americans are like, but sadly, the more we pretend to be the police of the world, the more they hate us anyway.

I doubt it. Not only does the government make decision's for it's people, it has the ability to manipulate most of it's citizen's into actually backing it. And just the way our government manipulates news and info we receive, I'm sure the governments of other countries do the same. I doubt they're saying "those poor americans don't know what their gorverment is doing". No, I'm more inclined to believe they think we're all just as guilty. Sucks, don't it.

I just wonder how all those poor fools that voted for Bush were feeling the day news broke of there never being and WMD's.

Democratic governments speak for 51% of the population. Move to France if you want to be in that 51%.

A silent majority goes ignored. Where are those democrats? Why can't we just tell Bush we support the constitution and he's going to have to fallow it!
