who invented and funded the creation of these little soldiers? Im not a consipercy theorist and support my governments. But maybe they have a more purposeful duty

I think it was done after the world war to show support for the military personnel and profit.
If you thought about it boy scout and cub scouts are designed to get people to think in military logic and basic survival.

The old 12 inch models from the 60s could be A LOT more than just toys, if you get my drift.

That's why Hasbro switched to the tiny 4 inch versions....too many curious kids having to get Joe removed from their backsides.in the ER.
