Would it be in the interest of the people to remove the rights of those whose actions warrant punishment? Do you believe crime would be a popular alternative to hardwork and education if the end results leads to your social security number being erased, citizenship revoked and your driver's license suspended?

I have been trying to contact her since July 19th, left messages, went to her home/office and left letters, mulitlple messages on her phone. We've done nothing to make her mad, but am simply trying to get updated on our case. We sent a letter off to my ex, we are going for termination of parental rights. If he did not contact our lawyer within 30 days, then he gives up his rights. The 30 days ended July 30. We know nothing, don't know if she heard from him,or didn't. She won't return our calls. We hate to change lawyers in the middle of the game, she knows our case so well. I've talked with someone from her home, just to make sure she was ok, and there was no family emergency. She's fine and so is the family. I don't know what else to do. We just want to know if my child is going to be safe from her paternal dad, and he will be out of our lives. Sigh. Help?

I think most would prefer islamic court. Just get your head or arm chopped off rather than needing to wait for trial and all the paperwork associated with americas system.

Whats your thoughts?

They never told me if I was laid-off or fired until I asked. Then I asked what did I do to deserve this and they had no answer. I am the only person that knows how to my job, which is final repair and paint repair on towable trailers. I also work with 80% Amish which don't like me because I am liberal. Oh yeah, my supervisor use to be Amish also.

...I mean what sets the standard for the practice of law and isn't or aren't ethics what makes the legal profession the "noble" profession that it is seen and represented as...? I find/found that trusting your representative in court is utmost, for,, without such a disposition, it seems, error/failure will be inevitable. So,certainly ethical standards need be held by the litigants and all the officers of the court so the parties in dispute might have a fair and deliberate proceeding held, which the litigants would help assure, by keeping the standard that the charter regarding ethics maintain.
I really need to know the standard, because I have not been treated fairly in a present and continuing civil matter. Any kind of solid response is welcome.
Right-on. Thanks

I recently saw a show on TV in which two women were found to have different DNA from their biological children. Further testing resulted in the discovery that each woman carried two sets of DNA.

Given that news, is it possible to prove anyone not guilty using DNA evidence?

I recently got a job working in Ohio (I live in Pennsylvania) and today I was scheduled to work 11-7 but they were over staffed so they let me leave at 1. When I told my mom about this, she flipped and told me it was against the law and that I had to work at least 2 hours. I am not a minor. Does anyone know about this?

The driver claims that she had the green light but three witnesses said otherwise in a police report. My lawyer says we don't have a case being that if it goes to court ,all the defense has to ask the witness is " Have you lied before ".He went to the hospital & later released with only scrapes and bruises. My Lawyer also said that Hawaii's state law will not even punish this person criminally as it is her word opposed to the three eye witnesses. Is he correct?
