What other life is there other than a natural one?

It means without the possibility of parole in the future. So, for example, you could receive a life sentence but be eligible for parole after serving 15 years. A life sentence for a person's natural life, on the other hand, simply means that they will never get out.

There are life sentences which still allow a person to be parolled. However, "for the rest of his/her natural life" means until the inmate is dead. There is no getting out.

I wonder if your on a resperator to sustain your life if they would let you out because I dont think thats your natural life?
