how can i get a concealed weapons license? i know that all you gun haters out there will flmae me for the question, but id rather be able to protect myself and those around me than get shot down and used as bait for some lunatic. i was recently used as a hostage in a gas station and had to snap my assaulter's neck in order to save myself and the store clerk from being killed. i realize from this that instead of paralyzing somone it would be safer and easier to disable them without the risk of killing them, or if needed to eliminate their threat as quickly as possible.

Out of NY, you have to apply for a pistol permit.After being qualified you must take tests.One being actually firing the handgun.You go through tests like a drivers lisence.But if you live in NY you can not attain one unless you own a business, are a security guard, or a correctional officer.Because of the Rockafeller law.But everybody in NY have illegal ones anyways.It is just better to have one when you need it, than to need it and not have one.I personaly carry a knife on my belt clip at all times.But you can't bring a knife to a gun fight.

Almost any gun shop will be able to get you hooked up with the classes and paperwork you'll need to carry a firearm. Its sad that we have to meet force with force but if only the crooks or government had guns we would all be in serious crap.

You have to apply at your local deputy sheriffs office. Usually it's in or near your county court house.
I just got mine a few weeks ago and it's worth it to have one.

YOU HAVE TO GET A LISCENSE TO CARRY FROM THE STATE POL. IN YOUR AREA YOU APPLY TAKE THE TRAINING AND CARRY IT WHEN THE LISC. IS ISSUED TO YOU
