I think America is racist against rap music because the republicans don't want to see Black kids rolling around in Lexus's and Phantoms, and sitting on 28 inch wheels - and having mansions and scores of women of all colors hanging off of them.

Rap music raps about violence, poverty, riches and partying while Rock music talks about SATAN, EVIL, VIOLENCE, DEATH and DESTRUCTION

i.e. - Gwar, guns&roses, death rock, grunge, etc

Why is it that Rap music is picked on when Rock music does the exact same thing with the addition of satanism and goth promotion???

I'm certain it's because neocons and the republican party don't want to see Blacks with financial riches, social or political power and for the most part have anti-***** penis envy.

I'm not sure where you live in, but we have kids in urban cities with guns because 50 Cent told them to do it. Rappers like him glorify gun and gang violence and this, in turn, encourages little kids to take up arms for no reason. Now...when was the last time you hear some dude listening to rock shooting up a school? Colombine, 1999. Before that? Can you even remember? Son, we have shootings every day in cities because people listen to rap.

Let me prove it to you in a more alarming, policitically incorrect way. In Toronto, with the exception of drive-by shootings, all of these shooting victims are black and they are known by the police and they do dress in "rap/hip-hop apparel." And the people they nab are, again, black, known to police, and dress in the same clothes. Get this. About 85-90% of them plead guilty. When was the last time you have seen a shooting between two rockers? You DON'T because they're too busy smoking up.

And don't say I'm a racist because you are a racist for bringing it in in the first place. I'm not sure where you're getting your sources from, but rockers don't set fire to things; those are called "rioters." When was the last time there was a rock riot? Concert promoters don't cancel concerts at the last minute anymore in fear of them. The government doesn't care for any music that doesn't give kids the idea to be a government-supporting American... HOWEVER, your very wrong and generalizing about Rock music, it is not about Satan, evil, violence, death, and destruction.... Guns N' Roses and most other Rock is about the same things Rap is about, Sex and money... The government hates Rock musicians just as much, if not more.

a.)Americans not liking rap music is NOT racism...

b.)Rap music is associated with people of color because that is how rappers dress...like the theives and punks who sell drugs and beat people

c.) For example: The song "The kids" by Eminem...This song promote using drugs and slaughtering women...and last time I checked, that was illegal.

I think it has nothing to do with blacks. I think it has more to do with the portrayal of the musicians themselves. Pimps, murderers, ex-cons, wife beaters, disrespecting women, fighting, guns...all that stuff. It doesn't matter if its DMX or EMINEM....the choice of plot should we say of their songs is all wrong. I don't mind most rap music, and I don't mind most rock music. Its just some of both is really bad for kids. I'm an adult and I can see that Rhianna isn't going to be a "murderer" like in her song for instance, but some 10 year old kid might here the word and not be able to distinguish what she means, by what she says. I enjoy lots of different kind of music, even some of the bad stuff, but I could do with out the violence and stuff like that.
Again I don't think its blacks or rap or rock, I think its basically just the message that is sent out in the songs and videos that is making people uneasy. I hope you understand that most aren't out to get black people. I think that most people want to get along with everyone..its their nature...but race is an easy scapegoat for lots of arguments unfortunately.

What is everybody supposed to do, listen to something that is nothing but screeming and profanity so that more money will go into the rappers pockets ?
If you want to get more listeners and payers, come up with what they want to hear. Don't say everybody has to like rap because you do.
All businesses change their product if it's not selling at the rate they expected. Don't hang on to something that's not selling. Move it out, and get what the public wants. Music is a product, like any product. The public decides.
