I just found out he lied about what he is on probation for. I want to find out what he really did - since we are going thru a child custody battle. I know it's a state jail felony - I just need to know for what.

Are Yahoo Answers and its
participants aware that there are many Q.s and A.s here, that are tantamount to practicing medicine, or law, or some other profession, without a license, based on training, credentials, and other qualifications?

Like if a guy asks what he can do for his out-of whack and painful back injury?

I doubt anyone would "get arrested", but State Licensing boards could and might file suit against Yahoo for encouraging this sort of thing, and try to get an injunction that might shut down this site, or severely restrict its content.

if you have a family or not ,could you go on knowing that you help set a child molestor and child killer loose?i wonder about our legal system when it would protect someone with no care for human life and leave the burden on a defense lawyer to live with it.( and no,i'm not a lawyer )

Whats it all about? The police know straight away if your car is in tax or not from your licence plate as it is all computerised anyway. So why should it be against the law not to have it on show?

I live in RI, he lives in Florida. He is currently in contempt of his RI order for child support, but since he lives in Florida--it's sketchy. I can't seem to enforce anything to get him to pay, and everytime I try, it takes ages. He currently owes over $2000. How can I find out if he has the house he lives in under his name? And if he is currently working? He loves to work under the table to claim he has no income...Yet he finances TWO cars. Go figure. Please help!

I work for a grocery store and I recently got my CDL license. I applied for a job with Pepsi but I wasn't hired only because I work for this particular grocery chain. The district manager over the area has an agreement with the pepsi district manager that no one is allowed to be hired by Pepsi from the grocery chain. Do I have any legal action against this man? He is holding me back from furthering my career. He will not let me leave the grocery store because I work for him and he has said he absolutely will not let anyone go to Pepsi, let alone me, a hard worker. Is there a law against this and if so how do I go about seeking legal action against him or possibly the two of them. Please someone help me.

I love how the world is so quick to make comments about Israel, how bad they are with this, how bad they are with that...

But, this is the best part, as soon as someone attacks the rest of the world, it is ok for the rest of the world to fight back?

Basically as soon as something bad happens to any other country it's ok, but if it involves Israel then it is straight away Israel's fault??

I don't see Israel purposely blowing up innocent people, e.g suicide bombers... I don't see Israel kidnapping innocent people? I can go on forever...

what I do see, is a country defending itself... if it is ok for the rest of the world, why is it not ok for Israel?

My theory is that the 2:00 am cutoff in California seriously contributes to DUI's. People at bars feel pressured to drink more in a short period becuase of the deadline. Then they are literally thrown into the street with no where to go to except their cars. Have you ever noticed that when you're in Las Vegas and planning to get drunk you never really do because they serve it all the time and you wind up drinking less because psychologically you feel like you have more time? I bet that if someone did a study of drunk driving in Nevada they would find the incidence it is less and directly correlates to the fact that they don't shut you down at 2:00 am. This 2:00 am law needs to be addressed because it was started by prudes in California a long time ago and it is no longer and probably never was valid.
