I am without pay for 3yrs,everyone denies me, my long term ins,social security and workers comp. my family is tired of loaning me money,but, I can"t work.how can I speed this along I need answer!! I was just denied social security even though their doctors say I have a serious disabity they still think I can work somewhere. I am tired of fighting , any hope for me? any lawyers that can give me some answers,mine surly won"t give me any. and I don"t want to start over with another now.

Is it illegal for a company to hire someone, then fire them 2 weeks later for the back ground check. Even if the application says nothing about misdemeanors, it only asks about felonies. He doesn't have any felonies but he has a few misdemeanors?? Legal or not?

The latest thing is an attempt to stop internet gambling. As stated in most newspapers, this is a naked attempt by a Republican Senator to appeal to the conservative/Christian vote. If you don't like gambling, don't do it, but it's absurd to try to legistlate morality like this. It seems that all stupid, crazy legistlation is done to appeal to Christian/Conservative voters. Making gay marriage illegal, making flag-burning illegal, making gambling illegal, it's all so silly! Why can't they just mind their own business and let people live their own lives? Why is the only personal freedom they care about the freedom to own machine guns with armor-piercing bullets? WHY?

I was the victim in a domestic violence case that was plea bargained. I am very unhappy with the ruling that was made, and thus far, the DA has not kept any of his promises that he made in the deal. Do I, as the victim, have the right to file a motion or an appeal for this case, and if so, what is it called that I would need to file? All I know is that I would need to do it in the prothonatary's office.

This Guy has played dirty for the Bush Family from the start. He attacks the opponent with untrue and damaging falsehoods to gain political momentum. Why is he still free after his crimes of Treason and why is Bush still President after we all have seen the proof he was SELECTED by a stacked deck to be President. Unfortunately I had a three car accidents and all of them were not my fault. Since I am not able to work, I am getting dissability payment. Since this time for over 7 years me and my family are being spied and chased by spies from Scottish & York Insurance Company. Our family can not take any more these mental tortures. Spies are calling our home 24 hours a day, sometimes it happens that we receive phone call from our family and does not matter if they call as from overseas or it is a local phone call but on our telephone display the same number is showing up, these means that our conversations are being listened by third party. These spies also follow us by cars and record us on cameras or other spying equipment. One of our neighbours is involved in spying. He has a bunch of cameras and other spying equipment attached to his house and his wife when she is going outside she is wearing wig or scarf and hat so nobody would recognize her on the street.
Can you help me please.

Inmates filed a class action lawsuit with the aid of the ACLU against a pornography ban. Now I am all for some pornography but that is the last thing they need in there. What about all the sex offenders in prison? Is that supposed to help with their rehabilitation?

i dont understand what the big fuss is-- if two people love eachother it shouldn't matter if they are the same sex or not. they should be able to be married. I dont understand why some people are against it. What effect does it have on them? they dont like seeing it around?? deal with it! I never knew my father, It took me 15yrs to find him, a day after he died. Here I found my Grandma and my 1/2 uncle called me to tell me the news. Here he didn't tell me where or how he died, said some funeral home contacted him. And they were going to call him at the end of the week. I did research on my own and found the funeral home. My 1/2 uncle called the morgue the same day I talked to him and said his mom wanted him cremated ASAP. The morgue asked if he had spouse or kids, he said NO. He was told in the state of Oregon, he can't be cremated until the next of kin is notified. Here he knew about me, my dad always talked about me, he knew my address and phone number and still he lied to the morgue. Do I have any rights? I found out my uncles and Grandma didn't know my father died until a few months later. The only person that knew was my 1/2 uncle. And that stupid uncle promised me he would send me all his stuff, he never did. My uncles told me to try and sue my 1/2 uncle.

He is already on shock probation for a state jail felony (theft of a person). Also she called the police to their apt. many times but unfortunatly didn't press charges.

After answering a question on self abuse my answer was voted best answer/factual and resorceful. Yahoo then took it off because of the below policy. however I find this sad because if someone was really needing help. shouldn’t the question posed be taken as important This might help others in research or support. Today our lifespan is much longer than our founding father's, and our "world is flat", with events, and changes taking place globally faster than they ever conceived . Judges historically live out their terms remaining as unchanged conservative, liberal or moderate. Wouldn't it be better for an elder judge to have a free and open voice of criticism, while retired in the public sector, and a newer voice taking his place. Soon there will be many people living over 100yrs. of age.

i can't help but get mad at the fact that our soldiers get in trouble for guantanamo bay and other war related crimes. if we were as ruthless as those iraqis iraq would be a plie of sand by now. and there are a lot of other things nothing (like profiling and things of this sort)can be done to protect us on us soil because idiots start to complain about their rights being violated. but then when a bomb goes off those same people are mad at the gov.
